Just how potent was the message of those original followers of Jesus? Paul and his team had gone to Thessalonica to preach Jesus Christ salvation message to those that would listen. This message was backed by the power of the Holy Spirit. Why else would a few people, bringing a different message than the people may have heard before, be accused of “upsetting the world?” That shows us just how much power is in the blood and message of Lord Jesus Christ! And you still have that today. It is one of the Fellowship of Christian Farmers, International’s goals to deliver the salvation message of Lord Jesus Christ to whomever will listen. But, we also run into resistance like Paul’s group in Thessalonica, just because of the message of the cross. At many times we feel like we must be “upsetting the world”. That shows you just how important Jesus salvation message is!! Satan is trying very hard (back then and still today) to keep the message of Lord Jesus love for us from reaching the ears and hearts of the unsaved. 2000 years later and the death and resurrection of Lord Jesus is still disrupting the lives of those resistant to the free and wonderful gift from our mighty God!!
Lord, I love You and thank You so much for bringing the message of Lord Jesus love for me to me. When people hear the truth about You loving us so much You died for us, it has to touch their hearts, souls, and spirits. Thank You Jesus for Your obedience to God and for bringing that message to a lost and dying world. Thank You Lord! In Jesus name, Amen!!
