Prayer Guide and Devotional – October 26, 2023
Exodus 3:21-22
I will make the Egyptians favorably disposed toward this people, so that when you leave you will not go empty-handed. Every woman is to ask her neighbor and any woman living in her house for articles of silver and gold and for clothing, which you will put on your sons and daughters. And so, you will plunder the Egyptians.
The Lord took Joseph to Egypt through slavery. Then Joseph had his own people move to Egypt to avoid famine. Then, after a time, Joseph dies, and the Egyptians start to fear the Israelites. The Lord has His plans. And the Lord always takes care of His own. When the Lord arranged for the Israelites to leave Egypt, He would make sure they were paid back for all that was taken from them when they were in slavery. The Lord had the Israelite ladies go to their Egyptian neighbors and ask for articles of extreme value. And the Egyptians, too afraid not to, gave of their valued possessions. The Israelites walked out of Egypt carrying articles of gold and silver. The Lord knows where you have come from and He knows where you are going. The Lord will make sure you have what you need to live and to do the work He is sending you out to do. Whether you are a pastor at a church, a missionary in a foreign land, a Sunday School teacher for children, a Vacation Bible School helper, or an evangelist for the Fellowship of Christian Farmers, International out in the highways and the byways or the fields and the fairs, the Lord will provide for your needs for you to fulfill your responsibilities. The Israelites were God’s chosen people at that time. All people that have come to Jesus and received Him into their hearts and lives are the Lord’s children today! The Lord will provide for His own children now like He did back then.
Lord, my human eyes and my human heart will fear at times that I will not have what I need to fulfill Your desires. But I know that I have never lacked in all my years. Thank You Lord for always providing. Help me to look forward knowing You are taking care of all the necessary details for me to complete the task at hand. I love You, Lord!! In Jesus name, Amen!!

Pray for Israel as they are being attacked by Hamas.
Please pray for our country and that God will guide us as to whom we should vote for as election rhetoric is broadcast 24/7 for the next year.
Pray for David Huffman. He was very close to his sister and brother-in-law and his sister just passed from cancer and he has found out his BIL has inoperable brain cancer.
Pray for the Kingdom Kidz Puppet Ministry. Their Director, Lisa Derr, just passed away unexpectedly at the young age of 55.
Cheryl had a biopsy on her liver and she has lots of other health concerns. She Is not able to leave home.
Sandy Singer fell and fractured her arm.
Walter Powell slipped when getting up from a chair and sprained his knee. He had it operated on for a replacement last year. Still having lots of discomfort.
Chris Brown fell and injured herself.
