Prayer Guide and Devotional – October 18, 2023

Ecclesiastes 3:1
To everything there is a season,A time for every purpose under heaven:
One of the things I love the most are how different and how wonderful the four seasons of the year are in north central Pennsylvania. Each season has so much to offer. The farmer also has their seasons and the responsibilities that go with each. Planting season in Spring, attending to fields and fences and barns and outbuildings in the Summer, harvesting and storing and moving his crops in the Fall, and attending to all the things that were missed that can be addressed through the cold and snow come Winter. The Lord is reminding us that we all have different seasons to our lives. And with these different seasons of our lives come different responsibilities and tasks. As youth is to Spring, our early adult years are to Summer, and our mid life to Fall, and our final years are to Winter. During each of these seasons of our life we can be very fruitful to and for the Lord. Never think that you are past your prime or your ability to serve the Lord is gone. What season of your life are you presently in? Ask the Lord to use you to the best of the abilities and talents He has given you and watch your present season come alive in service to our Savior, Lord Jesus. Yes, there is a time or a season for everything under the sun. Make the most of the season you are in today!! God bless!!
Lord, we are thankful for You allowing us to serve You. That is our great joy. Help us to realize the season of life we are in today and serve You accordingly. There will be a time when we enter the next season of our lives and service to You, but help us all to fulfill all we can for You during this present season and each to come!! In Jesus name, Amen!!
Prayer Requests!!!
Pray for Israel as they are being attacked by Hamas.
Please pray for families who have lost the matriarch and patriarch of their families. We have had five deaths of 90’s women in less than two weeks in our area. These were all fine Christian women who held their families together with Christian love.
