In response to the devastating wildfires across Kansas, Oklahoma, and Nebraska, Fellowship of Christian Farmers International (FCFI) has stepped into partnership with Farm Rescue through Operation Haylift 2026 to bring practical and immediate relief to ranching families in crisis.
The widespread fires have destroyed pastureland, depleted feed supplies, and left many ranchers struggling to sustain their livestock. In this critical moment, Operation Haylift volunteers are hauling donated hay directly to affected farms, ensuring that essential feed reaches animals that might otherwise go without.
Through this coordinated effort, FCFI has already contributed more than $23,000 to help cover fuel, lodging, and meal expenses for volunteer drivers. These funds play a vital role in keeping the operation moving efficiently, allowing more loads of hay to reach families quickly and safely across fire-ravaged regions.
What may appear to be a simple act of transporting hay has become a meaningful lifeline for many. Beyond the physical relief, the effort also brings encouragement and hope to families facing loss and uncertainty.
This partnership highlights the power of faith in action—demonstrating stewardship, compassion, and collaboration in meeting urgent needs. As Operation Haylift continues, FCFI remains committed to standing alongside rural communities in times of disaster, offering both practical help and the hope of Christ.
