On Friday, several students from the Southern Baptist Theological Seminary volunteered to share the Gospel of Jesus Christ using the Wordless Walking Stick.  The booth was full all day long and our student presenters did a great job handling the large crowds coming to our booth.

Ron Miller speaking at the Praying for Farmers seminar at the National Farm Machinery Show entitled “Stability in Unstable Times”

In the seminar, Ron Miller talked about his early life as a farmer in the late 70s and 80s.  He dealt with poor economic policies, isolation, lonliness, and drought, all which have made more farmers than you can imagine contiplate suicide.  No matter the problem, Jesus is the answer.  He will never forsake those who love Him.

Small groups of farmers praying and sharing at the seminar

Ron had said that men do not like to share their feelings.  But sharing with other farmers allows you to see that you are not alone and that others are going through the same struggles.  Farming is a calling, and God will provide.

There were seminars both Friday and Saturday.  Here are videos from both days.  They are similar in content.  Day 1 has added footage from Asbury College, where revival is taking place.  Day 2 of the seminar may have better sound, since we were issued a microphone for Day 2.
