Mission Trip: Mexico

7 rolls of artificial turf are on there way

The Fellowship of Christian Farmers, International will be heading to Torreon once again this year to continue working on projects in support of Pastor Tony Gomez’s church in Gomez, Palacio. This year, a most ambitious project is in the works. A full size soccer field, complete with artificial turf and a sun shade will be built on the property, as long as the turf makes it into Mexico.

Artificial turf rolls

Many projects that have been started by Spanish American Mission have had work done on them by FCFI members. The 2019 Mexico mission trip to Torreon will be different in that the trip is coordinated through the Spanish American Mission.

The trip dates are March 2-9, 2019, which is Saturday to Saturday. In addition to the soccer field project, the work this year will be helping to build classrooms using metal studs and drywall in the Ministry Center, which is Pastor Tony’s church in Gomez Palacio.

If the turf doesn’t make it down in time, there are still projects to work on, including building classrooms in the Ministry Center.
