Mecum Auction Tractor Auction Benefits Fellowship of Christian Farmers!

This is the John Deere 4020 Diesel with power shift donated to the Fellowship of Christian Farmers

Lot S23 is a beautiful 1964 John Deere 4020 Diesel tractor with frame-off engine overhall, new cab interior, new paint, 12 volt battery, 8 speed power shift, and 6 cylinder 404. All proceeds go to the Fellowship of Christian Farmers!

A cold wind entered the bidding arena when the large overhead doors opened to reveal a long line of vintage tractors from John Deere, International Harvester, Oliver, Ford, and others. After previously standing for the National Anthem, the bidders and guests were again standing to put coats on, as temperatures hovered in the high 30s. Although cold outside, and now cold inside, the action inside was heating up.

…and the Result

Lot S23, the 1964 John Deere 4040 Diesel, came across fairly early in the tractor auction. The gavel hit the podium at $10,500, with all the proceeds going to the Fellowship of Christian Farmers! The tractor was purchased in bid by Rodney Miller.

This has been a new endeavour for the Fellowship of Christian Farmers. A donated tractor is a wonderful gift that will help us to register for many farm shows to come in 2022 and beyond.
