The Fellowship of Christian Farmers International (FCFI) invites you to a special Zoom Prayer Fellowship on Saturday, October 4th. This virtual gathering will feature Cliff Wilms, a lifelong servant of Christ with a heart for agriculture, mentoring, and discipleship.
About Our Guest Presenter
Cliff Wilms – Sioux Falls, SD
Cliff is a native Kansan who grew up on a diversified grain and livestock farm. His early interest in livestock production was nurtured through 4-H and livestock judging. He earned his B.S. and M.S. degrees from Kansas State University and his Ph.D. from the University of Illinois, where he also managed the Beef Research Unit during his graduate studies.
He has spent over 35 years in the feed and cattle industry, serving as a producer, researcher, nutritionist, feed account manager, and sales trainer. His extensive experience working with producers across a wide range of geographical areas has given him a broad-based perspective on the industry. He has held multiple sales management and technical support positions and started his own cattle consulting business in 2008.
He has a heart for mentorship, having traveled to Africa on over 15 trips to mentor men in business and life. He is presenting on his work with groups of young men in Uganda using Every Man a Warrior material. He will discuss the role of the man in leading and showing love to the family, the importance of affirmation for youth, and building godly character and integrity in all areas of life—including money, work, and sexuality—according to biblical principles. His theme verse in training has been Micah 6:8:
“He has shown you, O man, what is good, and what the Lord requires of you, but to do justly, and to love mercy, and to walk humbly with your God.”
Cliff will also discuss FCFI’s discipleship program being rolled out through retired Navigators and the important role of multiplying disciples. Additionally, as a cattle nutritionist, he may share basic insights into cattle nutrition. He has promised to be flexible based on the interests of those attending the Zoom prayer fellowship.
Cliff and his wife, Cathi, reside in Sioux Falls, SD, and are blessed with three adult children and six wonderful grandchildren. We are honored to welcome Cliff as our presenter and look forward to his encouragement and insights.
