Hurricane Helene SW US Multi-state Disaster Relief

As SW US communities recover from the devastating floods caused by Hurricane Helene, many homeowners are facing the overwhelming task of dealing with water damage. Fellowship of Christian Farmers International (FCFI) is mobilizing volunteers to help families in need by organizing relief efforts across affected areas.

Ron and Deb Herrold are leading one such effort in her neighborhood in Bradenton. Pete and Sandy Singer are working with their church to assist those in Charlotte County. Other groups will form and FCFI can utilize all volunteers to link them to opportunities to help to tackle this immense challenge. Flooding has severely impacted homes and many families are finding out that their homeowners insurance does not cover flood damage so they are without recourse to be relieved from the extensive damage a flooded home can cause. Many families need help with cleaning up and salvaging what they can. Tasks include:
