God at Work in FCFI Region Eight (Northeast)

It’s always a joy to share the amazing ways God is moving in Region Eight. The first three months of 2026 have been incredibly productive, with events across the South and New York. Through these efforts, the gospel has been shared with over 6,600 people, and God continues to open hearts to receive His Son, especially through the powerful “colored bead” story.

Volunteers traveled across Florida, Georgia, and New York, giving countless hours of service. Pete and Sandy Singer, long-time Region Eight supporters, described one of the events simply: “Words can’t describe the day!” That sentiment captures our feelings as well. Each event drew people to the tents—many eager for a free gift, but most importantly, to hear the Good News. Thousands of miles were traveled and many nights spent away from home, but the reward was clear: lives touched by the gospel. As Scripture reminds us, “We are not ashamed of the gospel, for it is the power of God to save.” (Romans 1:16)

Here’s a snapshot of what God accomplished during the first months of 2026:

• January 17-18 – Manatee Festival, Crystal River, FL – 600 people
• Feb 1-2 – Home Show, Utica, NY – 400 people; led by Chris Brown
• Feb 22-23 – New York Farm Show, Syracuse, NY – 1,200 people; Ric Rosaro sharing the gospel at the FCFI booth
• Feb 21-22 – Swamp Cabbage Festival, Labelle, FL – 1,200 people; Pete and Sandy Singer led the effort
• Feb 28-March 1 – Strawberry Festival, Live Oak, FL – 800 people; FCFI Prayer Coordinator Mary Jones traveled from Tifton, GA to assist
• March 7-8 – Strawberry Festival, Floral City, FL – 950 people; Vicky and Kenny Heatherly traveled from TN to help and collect supplies for use in their state
• March 7 – Rattlesnake Roundup, Wigham, GA – 800 people

Every event represents hearts opened, lives impacted, and volunteers using their ministry gifts to share Christ. We are grateful for every person who traveled, prayed, and served, trusting God to do the work only He can do.

Region Eight is a vivid reminder that when we step out in faith, God moves powerfully through ordinary people to reach extraordinary results.
