Clearing the Aftermath – A utility vehicle loaned by FCFI helps remove tree debris after an EF2 tornado struck Linton, Indiana
Serving a Community in Crisis with Faith and Action
On May 16, 2025, an EF2 tornado tore through Linton, Indiana, leaving a trail of devastation in its wake. With wind speeds reaching up to 135 mph, the storm destroyed or severely damaged 75 homes, displacing hundreds of residents and turning neighborhoods into disaster zones.

Restoring the land – helping residents clean up storm damage and rebuild their community
In the aftermath of the storm, the Fellowship of Christian Farmers International (FCFI) stepped in to provide tangible help and hope to those affected. One powerful example of resilience and support comes from a local elementary school principal, whose own home and property suffered significant damage. Despite personal loss, she has been actively working to clear and clean up the destruction—removing hundreds of downed trees with the help of equipment donated by FCFI.

This moment reflects the heart of FCFI’s mission: serving communities in need through practical support and the love of Christ. By providing tools, equipment, and encouragement, FCFI empowers individuals to recover and rebuild—physically and spiritually.
As cleanup and restoration efforts continue in Linton, please continue to pray for those affected and for the volunteers working to bring hope to this hurting community.
