FCFI Prayer Guide – November 2024

  1. At that time, (when God restores His chosen people) they will call
    Jerusalem the Throne of the Lord, and all nations will gather in
    Jerusalem to honor the name of the Lord. No longer will they follow
    the stubbornness of their evil hearts, (Jeremiah 3:17). God was
    telling Jeremiah what would happen if and when the Israelites
    returned to worshipping Him. We pray not only to repent but to
    turn from our evil ways and be restored to our God. 2 Mule Day,

2. Who can speak and have it happen, if the Lord has not decreed it?
Is it not from the mouth of the Most High that both calamities and
good things come, (Lamentations 3:37-38). We know that we can
only change our destinies by crying out to God in repentance
and hope. We pray to come under God’s leadership for our

3. The Spirit then lifted me (Ezekiel) up and took me away, and I went in
bitterness and in the anger of my spirit, with the strong hand of the
Lord upon me. I came to the exiles who lived at Tel Abib anear the
Kebar River. And there, where they were living, I sat among them for
seven days, overwhelmed, (Ezekiel 3:14-15). God had called Ezekiel
to a task that would most probably end in defeat. It is easy for us
to get frustrated when we don’t see instant results from our good
deeds. We pray to obey God even when we don’t feel like it and
when we don’t see any tangible results immediately. God has a plan. Please pray for Bill. He had a benign tumor on his colon
and had surgery.

4. At the end of the time set by the king to bring them in, the chief
offi cial presented them to Nebuchadnezzar. The king talked to them,
and he found none equal to Daniel, Hananiah, Mishael and Azariah,
so they entered the king’s service, (Daniel 1:18-19). Daniel chose to
negotiate rather than rebel when faced with things that didn’t
honor God. His Godly infl uence impacted all of Babylon by the
time captivity was over. We pray to look for ways to adjust when
we are faced with changes, and still be obedient to God’s Word.
Please pray with Jan for good harvest and good prices for our
farmers.

5. The Lord will roar from Zion and thunder from Jerusalem, the earth
and the sky will tremble. But the Lord will be a refuge for His people,
a stronghold for the people of Israel, (Joel 3:16). Judgement will
come, but as Believers we can feel safe and secure in the arms of
Jesus. We pray to accept our way of Salvation through Jesus and
we pray to be a witness to others. Please continue to lift Dave and
his family up as his wife Ruthie passed and will be greatly missed.

Please pray for God’s will to be done in the election today!

6. The words of Amos, one of the shepherds of Tekoa, what he saw
concerning Israel two years before the earthquake, when Uzziah
was king of Judah and Jeroboam son of Jehoash was king of
Israel, (Amos 1:1). Amos was a farmer in all respects…he was a
shepherd and tended fi g trees. Just a person living an ordinary
life like the most of us. God gave him a vision of the future and
he left his comfort zone and obeyed. We pray to be obedient to
God’s calling on our lives. Please give a shout of Halleluiah that
Shelia is doing better from her wound.

7. Now, O Lord, take away my (Jonah) life, for it is better for me to
die than to live, (Jonah 4:4). Jonah was angry that the wicked
Babylonians didn’t parish, rather they repented and escaped
judgment. How many times have we been like Jonah, wanting
our own sins forgiven but for God to punish others. We pray to
rejoice in the repentance of the wicked. 1-10 Royal Ag, Toronto

8. Writhe in agony, O Daughter of Zion, like a woman in labor, for
now you must leave the city to camp in the open fi eld. You will go
to Babylon; there you will be rescued (Micah 4:10). God commands respect and obedience, but He always gives us a way back to
Him. We pray to not be carried away into a time of captivity and
judgment for our sins, but to repent, fast and pray for forgiveness.
Please join Sam in prayer in that his farmers will continuously
learn and embrace Godly principles in farming and reduce
their dependence on harmful agrochemicals.

9. Though the fi g tree does not bud and there are no grapes on the
vines, though the olive crop fails and the fi elds produce no food,
though there are no sheep in the pen and no cattle in the stalls, yet
I will rejoice in the Lord, I will be joyful in God my Savior, (Habakkuk
3: 17-18). This is easy to proclaim when times are good but hard
to do in times of calamity and great need. We pray to trust God
knows best even in times we don’t understand. Please pray for
Andy that he will find the answers to his health issues in this
busy harvest season.

10. This is the carefree city that lived in safety. She said to herself, I
am, and there is none besides me. What a ruin she has become, a
lair for wild beasts! All who pass by her scoff and shake their fi sts,
(Zephaniah 2:15). This sounds like a prediction for the country of
America… we are arrogant and self-centered and have become a
laughingstock from other nations. We pray to repent as a country
and come back to our God and become the great nation, under
God, that we once were. Please pray for Tom. His marriage
needs healing and their home was flooded.

11. This is what the Lord almighty says, In those days ten men from all
languages and nations will take fi rm hold of one Jew by the hem of
his robe and say, Let us go with you, because we have heard that God
is with you, (Zachariah 8:23). God’s chosen people will one day be
honored by those around them rather than being dishonored.
Often Jews have been seen as inferior and to be hated. We pray
to stand with Israel and God’s chosen people. Please pray for
Gordon’s daughter, Jamie. She has breast cancer and is praying
for the best options for her healing.

12. But who can endure the day of His coming? Who can stand when
He appears? For He will be like a refiner’s fi re or a launderer’s soap,
(Malachi 3:2). Malachi was also a forerunner of Jesus. He was
also reminding us that Jesus is the refiner of our hearts and thus
our lives. Those who can’t stand the heat of the refiner’s fire will
go out of the kitchen. We pray to open our hearts and lives and welcome Jesus into refine us for His calling. Please pray for Mary
as she continues to heal from recent surgery.

13. When King Herod heard this (that Jesus had been born) he was
disturbed, and all Jerusalem with him. When he had called together
all the people’s chief priests and teachers of the law, he asked them
where the Christ was to be born. In Bethlehem in Judea, they replied,
for this is what the prophet has written, (Matthew 2:3-5). Herod had
no desire to worship Jesus, his plan was simply to get rid of Him.
We pray to not be a Herod and to not have a jealous heart. Please
pray for FCFI funding and events to share the Jesus Sticks.

14. Some men came, bringing to Him a paralytic, carried by four of
them. Since they could not get him to Jesus because of the crowd,
they made an opening in the roof above Jesus and, after digging
through it, lowered the mat the paralyzed man was laying on, (Mark
2:3-4). These four friends exemplify Believers who live on mission.
They saw the need, didn’t let obstacles stop them. They worked
together to come up with a solution and stayed on track to get
the job done. We pray to be these four men in our own lives.
Please continue to pray for Phil. He has on going health issue
and continues to fall. Please pray for his wife Debbie as she is
his caregiver and she is tired.

15. His (John the Baptist) father Zechariah was fi lled with the Holy Spirit
and prophesied, Praise be to the Lord, the God of Israel, because He
has come and has redeemed His people, (Luke 1:67-68). Zachariah
knew in his Spirit that Jesus was soon to be born, and that John
would be the one pointing others to Jesus. We pray to be a
forerunner…calling out to those around us…He is the Savior of

16. This is the verdict, Light has come into the world, but men loved
darkness instead of light because their deeds were evil, (John 3:19).
Most of us are afraid of our lives being exposed. We know we
have done wrong things. While some bow and ask forgiveness,
others deny there is a God. We pray to ask Jesus to burn out
our iniquities and ask Him to be the Lord and Savior of our lives.

17. So, when they met together, they asked Him, Lord, are You at this
time going to restore the kingdom of Israel? He said to them, It is
not for you to know the times or dates the Father has set by His own authority, (Acts 1:6-7). His disciples didn’t understand that Jesus’
kingdom is a spiritual one…established in the hearts and lives
of Believers. We pray to spread the Good News to all that will
listen and pray for their salvation. Please continue to pray for
the Helene victims in NC.

18. For we maintain that a man is justifi ed by faith apart from observing
the law, (Romans 3:28). Our Salvation is not on performance…lest
any man should think he is better than another. Faith that there is
a God and Jesus is His Son and asking them to be the Savior and
Lord of our lives is what makes us want to do the right thing…
observe the law. We pray to be faithful Believers…justifi ed…just

19. The man without the Spirit does not accept the things that come
from the Spirit of God, for they are foolishness to him, and he
cannot understand them, because they are spiritually discerned,
(1Corinthians 2:14). No one can comprehend the greatness of
God. We have to accept on faith alone that what we believe is
the truth. Some people reject all of Scripture because they are
willing to lay down their control and abandon themselves to God.
We pray to have faith, even the size of a grain of mustard seed.
Please continue to pray for Peter. He has cancer and has opted
to stop treatments because of the effects on his body.

20. Is the law, therefore, opposed to the promises of God? Absolutely not!
For if a law had been given that could impart life, then righteousness
would certainly have come by the law, (Galatians 3:21). The law
leads us to Christ…we want to do right…but we fail… thus Jesus
came to wipe away our sins…He alone is the way of Salvation. We
pray to ask Jesus into our hearts and lives. 19-20 Fall Ocean City

21. Now it is God who has made us for this very purpose and has given us
the Spirit as a deposit, guaranteeing what is to come, (2Corinthians
5:5). God’s eternal Spirit is within us. What we see in each other
is our earth suit. God’s very purpose for us in our earth suits is to
share His love and lead others to salvation through Jesus Christ.
We pray to use our earth suits wisely. 22-23 McCook Farm and

22. So that Christ may dwell in your hearts through faith. And I pray that you, being rooted and established in love, may have power,
together with all the saints, to grasp how wide and long and high
and deep is the love of Christ, (Ephesians 3:17-18). Paul’s prayer
for the Ephesians…and for us…is that we will understand the
love of God is total…it is enough! We pray to invite Him into our
hearts and then rest in His power as He gives us strength in our
Spirit. Please pray for Ag based companies to support FCFI on
an annual basis.

23. What is more, I consider everything a loss compared to the surpassing
greatness of knowing Christ Jesus my Lord, for whose sake I have
lost all things. I consider them rubbish, that I may gain Christ,
(Philippians 3:8). Paul said everything else is a loss compared to
knowing Jesus as our Savior. We pray to know and to grow in
a relationship with our Savior. Please pray for opportunities to
share the Gospel.

24. Do not handle. Do not taste. Do not touch. These are all destined to
perish with use, because they are based on human commands and
teachings, (Colossians 2:21-22). As we accept Christ as our Savior
there are boundaries that say we should not be involved with
the worldly things…we should have no desire. We pray to have a
desire to seek Godly things. Please continue to pray for Sue and
her family. Clark’s passing has been a hard thing, and she has
her own health issues.

25. For the appeal we make (The Good News of Christ) does not
spring from error or impure motives, nor are we trying to trick you,
(Thessalonians 2:3). Paul was assuring the people hearing him
and Silas preach that he was doing so out of pure motives to share
the Gospel message. We pray to share Jesus without looking for
praise. Please pray for peace in the Middle East and Ukraine.

26. And then the lawless once will be revealed, whom the Lord Jesus will
overthrow with the breath of His mouth and destroy by the splendor
of His coming, (2Thessalonians 2:8). The anti-Christ will deceive
many people…that is why it is so important for us even now to
be sharing the Good News of Jesus. We pray to be sharers of the
Gospel. Please pray that God would work in mighty ways in our
new administration and the Lord would be glorified.

27. Command and teach these things (Salvation through Jesus). Don’t
let anyone look down on you because you are young, but set an
example for the Believers in speech, in life, in love, in faith and in purity, (1Timothy 4:11-12). Often young or young in the faith
Believers have to prove themselves to more seasoned Believers.
Letting Christ shine in our lives, young or old, draws others to
Christ. We pray to shine, Jesus, shine. Please pray for the new
congress for God’s will to work in and through them.

28. And the things you have heard me (Paul) say in the presence of many
witnesses entrust to reliable men who will also be qualifi ed to teach
others, (2Timothy 2:2). We, the church, must follow this teaching.
We should not only reach out to others but also teach others to
reach. We pray to be reachers and teachers. We are thankful for
all of you!! Happy Thanksgiving Day

29. The point we are saying is this: We do have such a High Priest, who
sat down at the right hand of the throne of the Majesty in heaven,
and who serves in the sanctuary, the true tabernacle set up by the
Lord, not by man, (Hebrews 8:1-2). Our High Priest (Jesus) is
seated in the heavenlies and intercedes for us day and night. We
pray to enter His presence with humility and rejoicing asking our
petitions as if they have already been answered. Please pray for
our country!

30. Anyone who listens to the Word but does not do what it says is like
a man who looks at his face in a mirror and after looking at himself,
goes away and immediately forgets what he looks like, (James
1:23-24). Our Bible study time should have an influence on our
daily lives. We pray that our behavior and attitude will reflect the
Words of Jesus. Please pray for Salvation of many during the
Christmas Season.
