- Then God said to Noah, Come out of the ark, you and your wife and your sons and their wives. Bring out every kind of living creature that is with you, the birds, the animals, and all the creatures that move along the ground, so they can multiply on the earth and be fruitful and increase in number upon it, (Genesis 8: 15-17). Please pray for Ramona, she has had a massive stroke and needs a miracle from God.
- God said to Moses, Say to the Israelites, The Lord, the God of your fathers, the God of Abraham, the God of Isaac and the God of Jacob, has sent me to you. This is my name (Yahweh…I AM) forever, the name by which I am to be remembered from generation to generation, (Exodus 4:15). What God had promised to the great patriarchs hundreds of years earlier he would fulfill through Moses. Until that point Moses had no idea that God was about to use him in such a monumental way. We pray to be open to how God wants to use us in His timing. Please pray for Pete and Sandy’s family with the passing of their son Peter.
- The same law applies to both the sin offering and the guilt offering. They belong to the priest who makes atonement with them, (Leviticus 7:7). These offerings were holy to the Lord because they represented repentance and forgiveness. We pray to have a repentant heart. Spring Fling, Danville, PA, Ernie Reece
- The Lord said to me (Moses), See I have begun to deliver Sihon and his country over to you. Now begin to conquer and possess his land, (Deuteronomy 2:31). God told Moses He would make the enemy nations afraid of Israel. We pray for God to make a way for us as we follow Him in obedience. Please pray for Jeff. He has strep and Flu B and needs to stay isolated from his wife who is immune compromised.
- The king of Jericho was told, Look! Some of the Israelites have come here tonight to spy out the land. So the king of Jericho sent this message to Rahab, Bring out the men who came to you and entered your house, because they have come to spy out the whole land, (Joshua 2:2-3). God often uses people with simple faith to accomplish His great purposes. We pray to be people usable by God in His kingdom’s work. Please pray for Charles. He is undergoing treatment for Bladder cancer. He fell and broke his femur.
- Now the house of Joseph attacked Bethel, and the Lord was with them, (Judges 1:22). Most of the tribes were not completely getting rid of all the enemy as God told them to do. Often, we fail to drive sin out of our lives as well. We pray to give God the glory in our lives by living in obedience to His will. 6-7 Oklahoma FFA, Tulsa, OK, Jeff Goss, Mike Weaver
- Then Boaz said, On the day you buy the land from Naomi and from Ruth the Moabitess, you acquire the dead man’s widow, in order to maintain the name of the dead with his property. At this, the kinsman-redeemer said, Then I cannot redeem it because I might endanger my own estate. You redeem it yourself. I cannot do it, (Ruth 4:5-6). Boaz followed the law of the land and won his right to marry Ruth fairly. We pray to be fair in our dealings with others. 7-9 New York FFA, Bill Brown
- And the Lord said to Samuel, See, I am about to do something in Israel that will make the ears of everyone who hears of it tingle. At that time, I will carry out against Eli everything I spoke against his family, from beginning to end, (1 Samuel 3:11-12). Eli’s sons were wicked and used their positions in despicable ways. God had warned Eli but he did nothing to restrain his sons. Their fates were sealed. We pray to be open to disciple from God before we go so far that our fates are sealed. 8-9 Washington FFA Convention, Kennewick, WA, Terry Morrison
- Your glory, O Israel, lies slain on your heights. How the mighty have fallen, (2Samuel 1:19). Saul had become an enemy to David but David loved him still. Saul and Jonathan had been killed. David sang a song of lament and taught it to the men of Judah. We pray to be faithful to God’s people. Please continue to pray for Phil. The Rehab facility he is in had an outbreak of covid and he wound up in the hospital with Covid pneumonia.
- So, Bathsheba went to see the aged king (David) in his room, where Abishag the Shunammite was attending him. Bathsheba bowed low and knelt before the king. What is it you want? The king asked. She said to him, My lord, you yourself swore to me your servant by the Lord your God, Solomon your son shall be king after me, and he will sit on my throne. But now Adonijah has become king, and you, my lord the king, do not know about it, (1Kings 1:15-18). Bathsheba took a risk in going to the king without him asking for her. But she had reason to be concerned and acted for her son Solomon. We pray to be the risk takers for all that is right in this world. Please pray for rain in the South…we are dry, dry, dry for farmers putting in crops.
- So, he (Naaman) went down and dipped himself in in the Jordan seven times as the man of God had told him, and his flesh was restored and became clean like that of a young boy, (2 Kings 5:14). Naaman had leprosy. He searched out Elisha in hopes of being healed. The cleansing seemed to mundane and he was angry. After obeying Naaman was healed. We pray to be open to God’s message even if it seems mundane in the beginning. MOTHER’S DAY!!!! Please pray for all Mothers and want to be Mothers!!!
- The men whose names were listed came in the days of Hezekiah King of Judah. They attacked the Hamites in their dwellings and also the Meunites who were there and completely destroyed them, as is evident to this day. Then, they settled in their place, (1Chronicles 4:41). The Israelites slowly and methodically captured the land of Canaan. When doing so, they were supposed to kill or run off the inhabitants of the land…some obeyed God and others didn’t. We pray to be a people of obedience, even if we don’t understand everything. Please pray for the upcoming FCFI mission trip to NC to serve those impacted by Hurricane Helene. Please contact Bill Brown if you are interested in helping or supporting this mission. See www.fcfi.org
- It (The Temple) was on the threshing floor of Arauhah the Jebusite, the place provided by David. He began building on the second day of the second month in the fourth year of his reign, (2Chronicles 3:1). Solomon began build the Temple of the Lord. It was an act of worship for him and for David his father. We pray to offer a sacrifice of praise as we worship God through our actions. Please pray for Kathy. She has blood cancer and had a reaction from the chemo meds and will try again this month.
- However, in the first year of Cyrus king of Babylon, King Cyrus issued a decree to rebuild this house of God (in Jerusalem). He even removed from the temple of Babylon the gold and silver articles of the house of God, which Nebuchadnezzar had taken from the temple in Jerusalem and brought to the temple in Babylon, (Ezra 5:13-14). The original Temple had been destroyed and now was to be rebuilt. In God’s timing things will go in an orderly manner if we believe and act according to God’s will. Please continue to pray for Pastor Brewer as he recovers from a stroke.
- But when Sanballat the Horonite, Tobiah the Ammonite official and Geshem the Arab heard about it, they mocked and ridiculed us. What is this you are doing? They asked. Are you rebelling against the king, (Nehemiah 2:19). In every work of God there will be stumbling blocks and trouble makers. We pray to persevere in times of trouble. Please pray for Shae. A young woman with multiple knee problems as the result of a wreck.
- He (Mordecai) also gave him (Esther’s courier) a copy of the text of the edict for their annihilation, which had been published in Susa, to show to Esther and explain to her, and he told him to urge her to go into the King’s presence to beg for mercy and plead with him for her people, (Esther 4:8). Esther weighed the situation and decided the lives of her people were more important than just her life. She made the decision to go before the king and ultimately saver her people and Mordecai as well. We pray to know no of us are secure in our own strength…we need God’s protection. Please continue to pray for Ronnie as he navigates the unknown of his health future.
- But if it were I, I would appeal to God, I would lay my cause before Him. He performs wonders that cannot be fathomed, miracles that cannot be counted, (Job 5:8-9). It is human nature to blame people for their own troubles. Job’s story makes it clear this is not always the case. We pray to not assume that someone is guilty of sin just because misfortune come upon them. FCFI Golf Tournament, Boonville, NY, Bill Brown
- Because of the oppression of the weak and the groaning of the needy, I will now arise, says the Lord. I will protect them from those who malign them, (Psalm 12:5). God cares for the poor and downtrodden. We pray to have God’s attitude for the weak and needy. 17-18 Renaissance Festival, Holland Patent, NY, Bill Brown
- Wisdom will save you from the ways of wicked men, for men whose words are perverse, (Proverbs 2:12). We pray to use God’s Word to make wise choices day by day. Please pray for Melissa, she has bone cancer.
- The wise man has eyes in his head, while the fool walks in the darkness, but I came to realize that the same fate overtakes them both, (Ecclesiastes 2:14). Even though death claims the wise man and the fool, what we do while we are here has impact on our eternal reward. We pray to be wise with God’s help and make Godly decisions. Please pray for our farmers as putting in their crops has begun here in the South.
- Woe to those who are wise in their own eyes and clever in their own sight, (Isaiah 5:21). We all know these people…they know everything and are not teachable. We pray to be open to God’s teaching as long as we are alive and to use our wisdom to further the kingdom of God. Please pray for those who have given over to total anxiety as our country is progressing.
- They have turned their backs to Me and not their faces, yet when they are in trouble, they say, come and save us, (Jeremiah 2:27). Seems nothing has changed since this was written so many years ago. We pray to be people of God and people of prayer. Please pray for FCFI events and workers to open to our group.
- He (God) has laid waste His dwelling like a garden, He has destroyed His place of meeting. The Lord has made Zion forget her appointed feasts and her Sabbaths, in His fierce anger He has spurned both King and Priest, (Lamentations 2:6). The people of Judah, despite their beautiful temple, had rejected in their daily lives what they proclaimed in their worship rituals. The destruction of the Temple represented God’s presence had left His people as they made worship a mockery. We pray to earnestly seek God and catch a fresh vision of his love, mercy and grace for His people. Please pray for commodity prices to increase for our growers.
- Your people (Judah) will fall slain amount you, and you will know that I am the Lord your God, (Ezekiel 6:10). God promised a remnant would survive, but they would learn so hard lessons to bring them to repentance. We pray to long for God enough that we will repent and change in areas we know are displeasing to Him. NY Steam Engine Tractor Pull and Flea Market, Canadaigua, NY, Bill Brown
- What the king (Nebuchadnezzar) asks is too difficult. No one can reveal it to the king except the gods, and they do not live among men. This made the king so angry and furious that he ordered the execution of all the wise men or Babylon, (Daniel 2:11-12). The king didn’t like the fact that no one could interpret his dream. Prayer is more effective than panic so Daniel asked his friends to pray and God sent him the answer to the dream. We pray to pray in times of crisis. We can pull heaven down into any situation with prayer. 24-26 Logan Hills Festival, Zanesfield, OH, Bill Nichols
- Ephraim will be laid waste on the day of reckoning. Among the tribes of Israel, I proclaim what is certain, (Hosea 5:9). Deliberate and persistent sin hardens us and makes it difficult to repent. We pray to step away from deliberately disobeying God’s Word in our lives.
- Then you will know that I, the Lord your God, dwell in ion, My holy hill. Jerusalem will be holy, never again will foreigners invade her, (Joel 3:17). God’s absolute authority and sovereignty will be revealed in the end. We need to be secure in His love by giving our hearts to Jesus as our Savior. We pray to love and trust God as our creator and guide. 27-30 New Mexico FFA, Las Cruces, NM, Jeff Goss
- The swift will not escape, the strong will not muster their strength, and the warrior will not save his life, (Amos 2:14). We have all had times we rose above our abilities. However, when God sends His judgement there will be no escape for the lost. God is not impressed with bravado, but a submissive heart. We pray to be right with God. 28-30 Kansas FFA Convention, Manhattan, KS, Mike Weaver Art Free
- But on Mount Zion will be deliverance, it will be holy, and the house of Jacob will possess its inheritance, (Obadiah 17). God has punished His people to bring obedience but, in the end, will deliver them as an inheritance. We pray to lift up God’s chosen people. We pray for many to come to Salvation by sharing the Good News with the walking sticks and story of the beads.
- When God saw what they (people of Nineveh) did and how the turned from their evil ways, He had compassion and did not bring upon them the destruction He had threatened, (Jonah 3:10). The pagan people of Nineveh heard and believed and repented from Jonah’s message. Unlike the Israelites who knew God’s promises and miracles and still were too stubborn to repent. We pray to have a repentant heart. Please pray for those who are living under the dark depression of anger and unforgiveness. Please pray they can come to a place of forgiving those who have hurt them.
