FCFI Prayer Guide – June 2025

Please pray for FCFI Area Leader Bill Brown as he’s due to have surgery soon to remove a cancerous tumor. Pray for no blood clots and no chemo afterwards. Our Prayer Guide Coordinator Mary has a request: Hugh has blood cancer and it is in his bones and his best estimate is 5 minutes to 2 weeks of life expectancy! Please lift them in prayer!

  1. Lately My people have risen up like an enemy. You strip off the rich robe from those who pass by without a care, like men returning from battle, (Micah 2:8). People have not changed much through the ages. This Scripture could have been written for this day and time. We should also heed God’s warnings. We pray to be a friend of God. Nittany Antique Machinery Show, Centre Hall, PA, Michael Steele
  2. The Lord has given a command concerning you, Nineveh. You will have no descendants to bear your name. I will destroy the carved images and cast idols that are in the temple of your gods. I will prepare your grave for you are vile, (Nahum 1:14). Nineveh was so completely destroyed that its ruins were not identified until 2000 years later. We pray to lift up fellow Believers and not persecute them. 2-5 Louisiana FFA, Baton Rouge, LA, Jeff Goss
  3. Their wealth will be plundered and their houses demolished. They will build houses but not live in them, they will plant vineyards but not drink the wine, (Zephaniah 1:13). When we become indifferent to God, we begin to think He becomes indifferent to us. But God loves us and wants to pull us back into worship with Him. We pray to keep our hearts and minds focused on God. 4-5 Alabama FFA Convention, Montgomery, AL, Jeff Goss
  4. And when you were eating and drinking were you not just feasting for yourselves, (Zechariah 7:6). Our worship should be more than habit or “what Grandma did”. True worship is from the heart. We pray to be heart worshipers. 3-5 Mississippi FFA MSU, Starkville, MS, Mike Weaver
  5. Another thing you do: You flood the Lord’s altar with tears. You weep and wail because He no longer pays attention to your offerings or accepts them with pleasure from your hands, (Malachi 2:13). People were living their lives as if God didn’t exist but then pretended to worship Him. We pray to let God be Lord of all in our lives. 5-6 Vermont Dairy Festival, Enosburg Falls, VT, Fleming
  6. Now when He (Jesus) saw the crowds, He went up on a mountainside and sat down. His disciples came to Him and He began to teach them, saying, (Matthew 5:1-2). People were drawn to Jesus, hungering to hear Him speak. He wanted to teach them while He could. We pray to be available and teachable. 5-6 Antique Tractor Show, Madrid, NY, Dave Porter
  7. After John was put in prison, Jesus went into Galilee, proclaiming the good news of God. The time has come, He said. The kingdom of God is near. Repent and believe the Good News, (Mark 1:14-15). Jesus’ Good News was that He had come to offer freedom and hope to all that believed in Him. We pray to share the Good News of Jesus to all we encounter. 7-8 Violet Festival, Dolgeville, NY, Bill Brown
  8. Then the angel of the Lord appeared to him (Zechariah), standing at the right side of the altar of incense. When Zechariah saw him, he was startled and was gripped with fear, (Luke 1:11-12). God is the God of impossible…a visible angel talked to Zechariah and gave him impossible good news that he and his wife Elizabeth would have a child. We pray to see God in the ordinary and in the impossible. 8-9 NY State Outdoor EXPO, Mohawk, NY, Bill Brown
  9. Now some Pharisees who had been sent questioned him (John the Baptist), Why then do you baptize if you are not the Christ, nor Elijah, nor the Prophet, (John 1:24). These Pharisees could not comprehend John the Baptist baptizing fellow Jews…this was supposed to be for gentiles converting to Judaism. We pray to repent and be baptized in the name of Jesus Christ our Lord and Savior. 9-12 Wisconsin FFA, Madison, WI, Dave Adams
  10. Now, brothers, I (Peter) know that you acted ignorantly, as did your leaders. But this is how God fulfilled what He had foretold through all the prophets, saying that His Christ would suffer, (Acts 3:17). Through Christ Peter healed the beggar. The people were amazed assuming there was some kind of magic. Peter admonished them saying you killed the healer but He lives again. We pray in the name of Jesus knowing it is the person Jesus who holds the power. Pray that FCFI can get back into the Illinois FFA once again.
  11. Is God the God of Jews only? Is He not the God of Gentiles too” Yes of Gentiles too, since there is only on God, who will justify the circumcised by faith and the uncircumcised through that same faith, (Romans 3:29). Faith levels the playing field. It cannot be manipulated, only multiplied. We pray for our faith to grow as we allow God to work in us through our circumstances. Virginia FFA Convention, Blacksburg, VA, Michael Steele
  12. Brothers, each man is as responsible to God, should remain in the situation God called him to, (1 Corinthians 7:24). Wherever we are in life when we give our hearts to Christ, He can and will use us. Don’t despair that God isn’t using you in great and glorious places, because as we live out our lives God can use us to change the world around us. We pray to be available and usable by God wherever we are. 10-12 Kentucky FFA, Lexington, KY, Mike Weaver
  13. But thanks be to God, who always leads us in triumphal procession in Christ and through us spreads everywhere the fragrance of the knowledge of Him, (2 Corinthians 2:14). As we reach and preach and teach, we are spreading the aroma of Christ to those who believe. We pray to be a sweet- smelling aroma to the Lord. Please pray for Michael. He has stage 4 lung cancer and needs for God to intervene with a miracle.
  14. Paul, and apostle, sent not from men nor by man, but by Jesus Christ and God the Father, who raised Him from the dead, and all the brothers with me to the churches in Galatia, (Galatians 1:1). Here Paul explains that following the Old Testament laws of the Jewish laws will not bring Salvation. A person is saved by grace through faith. We pray to place our faith in the Lord Jesus Christ and Him alone. 13-14 Old Home Days Celebration, Ames, NY, Bill Brown….13-14, Strawberry Festival, Owego, NY, Bill Brown…Branford Festival, Branford, CT, Bill Brown
  15. I(Paul) ask you, therefore, not to be discouraged because of my sufferings for you…which are your glory, (Ephesians 3:13). Paul endured the pain of persecution in order to bring new believers to Christ. We should feel honored that others have sacrificed for us so that we may reap the benefit of Salvation. We pray to not forget the sacrifices others have made for us. Please pray for Pete and Sandy and their families. Their son Peter passed away recently.
  16. All of us who are mature should take such a view of things (press on toward the goal). And if on some point you think differently, that too, God will make clear to you. Only let us live up to what we have already attained, (Philippians 3:15-16). As Believers we should press on with the help of the Holy Spirit, knowing that God will use us and teach us the things we need to know. We pray to open our hearts to being taught and matured in Christ. 16-19 Indiana FFA Convention, Purdue University, Dennis Schlagel
  17. Do not let anyone who delights in false humility and the worship of angels disqualify you for the prize. Such a person goes into great detail about what he has seen, and his unspiritual mind puffs him up with idle notions, (Colossians 2:18). False humility is self-centered. True humility is God-centered. We pray to see ourselves through God’s eyes and stay truly humble.16-19 Florida FFA, Caribe Royale Orlando, FL, Jeff Goss
  18. For God did not call us to be impure, but to live a holy life, (1 Thessalonians 4:7). Through Christ is the only way we can live a pure life. Our fleshly self wants what it wants. We pray to let God’s grace and holiness abound in our lives. 17-19 South Carolina FFA, Greenville, SC, Jeff Goss
  19. For the secret power of lawlessness is already at work, but the One who now holds it back will continue to do so until He is taken out of the way, (2 Thessalonians 2:7). The work of the antichrist is already ongoing. However, we have yet to see the horror of complete lawlessness. We pray to reach out to all we can so Salvation can be made available to as many as possible before the antichrist is turned loose on this ole world. 18-19 Sandhills Ranch EXPO, Dave Ferris/ Andy Faeh
  20. If anyone does not provide for his relatives, and especially for his immediate family, he has denied the faith and is worse than an unbeliever, (1Timothy 5:8). Family is important to God. Those who are healthy and financially able are to help those who are not as fortunate. We pray to look out for our families. Nutmeg Truck Show, Brooklyn CT, Bill Brown
  21. But they (unbelieving men preying on women) will not get very far because, as in the case of those men, their folly will be clear to everyone, (2Timothy 3:9). In every circle there are men and women who act in such a way as to seemed depraved. Their aim is to manipulate others and to use them for their own self-absorption. We pray for wisdom in knowing the heart of those trying to use God’s chosen people. Farmer’s Market, Syracuse, NY, Bill Brown
  22. For the grace of God that brings Salvation has appeared to ALL MEN, (Titus 2:11). Christ died and rescued us from sin so we are free from sin’s control. We pray to honor our Salvation with good works while we eagerly wait on Christ’s return. We pray and work actively for God as we wait in anticipation of Christ’s return. Please pray for Bryan. He had an ATV accident and needs a miracle to recover.
  23. He (Jesus) did not enter by means of the blood of goats and calves, but He entered the Most Holy Place once for all by His own blood, having obtained eternal redemption, (Hebrews 9:12). Sometimes we fall into the false notion we have to be “good enough” for God. As we take another look at Jesus’ death on the cross, we see we are freed from that guilt. We pray to understand Christ died for all of our sins. Please pray for the Williams family. Their patriarch passed away recently and they need prayers in so many areas.
  24. What causes fights and quarrels among you? Don’t they come from your desires that battle within you, (James 4:1). Selfish desires for control, status, financial gain leads to dissatisfaction and quarrels. We pray to keep our eyes on Jesus and ask Him to provide what we need. 24-26 North Carolina FFA, Raleigh NC, Mike Weaver
  25. Keeping a clear conscience, so that those who speak maliciously against your good behavior in Christ may be ashamed of their slander, (1Peter 3:16). We may not be able to keep people from talking about us but at least we can prove them wrong by our actions. We pray to keep our conduct above criticism. Pray for Dennis’ wife Janet who is having struggles with her autoimmune disorder.
  26. They (unrighteous people) will be paid back with harm for the harm they have done. Their idea of pleasure is to carouse in broad daylight. They are blots and blemishes, reveling in their pleasures while they feast with you, (2 Peter 2:13). These unrighteous people were pretending to be part of the body of Believers but were living their lives in constant rebellion to God’s Word and thus leading good people astray. We pray to be part of God’s family and ask for His discernment among people we are around. Please pray for our farmers. They need higher commodity prices…as the farmer goes, so goes the country.
  27. If we confess our sins, He is faithful and just and will forgive us our sins and purify us from all unrighteousness, (1John 1:9). As we believe Jesus is God’s Son and that He died for our sins and we confess with our mouth and ask for forgiveness from our sins we are forgiven ALL of our sins. Our confession means commitment to not continue sinning. We pray for strength to overcome temptations as they arise in our lives. 6/27-7/5 Millville Carnival, Millville, PA, Ernie Reece
  28. Grace, mercy, and peace from God the Father and from Jesus Christ, the Father’s Son, will be with us in truth and love, (2John3). As we believe in our hearts that Jesus is God’s Son and ask Him to be Savior and Lord of our lives there will be truth and love in us. We pray for God’s love to shine in our lives. Please continue to pray for those affected by Hurricane Helene…still much work to be done.
  29. It was for the sake of the Name (Jesus) that they (the disciples) went out, receiving no help from the pagans. We ought therefore to show hospitality to such men so that we may work together for the truth, (3 John 7-8). When we help those who are spreading the Gospel in their ministry, financially, prayerfully, or physical needs, we are partnering in their ministry. We pray to be good stewards of time, talents, and abilities in ministering to those who are working to spread the Gospel. Please pray for all missionaries.
  30. Jude, a servant of Jesus Christ and a brother of James, To those who have been called, who are loved by God the Father and kept by Jesus Christ, Mercy, peace, and love be yours in abundance, (Jude 1-2). Jude was writing to Believers to remind them to stay faithful and not fall for the words of false teachers. We pray to know the Word and let it teach us Truth! Please pray for revival in America. She desperately needs to turn to the Lord.
