- These are the sons of Israel: Reuben, Simeon, Levi, Judah, Issachar, Zebulun, Dan, Joseph, Benjamin, Naphtali, Gad and Asher (1 Chronicles 2:1). Jacob, grandson of Abraham and later called Israel by God, had 12 sons from whom the 12 tribes of Israel came. We pray that as we go about our ordinary lives, we can remember that God uses those He chooses to do great and extraordinary things.
– Cheddar Cheese Festival, Adams, NY – Porters - Because the Lord loves His people, He has made you their king (2 Chronicles 2:11). A high honor was bestowed on Solomon by Hiram, king of Tyre. We pray to live such lives that others will see Jesus in us. We praise God for the good rains we have been having in the South this year.
– Karen asks that we please be in prayer for their family mission trip to Guatemala, July 1–9. May God richly bless and protect them as they do medical clinics and street evangelism. - God moved the heart of Cyrus, king of Persia (Ezra 1:1). Cyrus was not a Jew, but God worked through him to bring the exiled Jews back to their homeland. God can and will use the most unlikely people to do His kingdom work. We pray to be open to those whom God is using, even if they are not the ones we would have chosen.
– July 3–4 – Fort Plain 4th on the Weekend, NY – Bill Brown - I answered them by saying, “The God of heaven will give us success.” (Nehemiah 2:20). Spiritual renewal often begins with one person’s vision. Nehemiah had the vision, and God supplied the success despite opposition and ridicule. We pray for a continuous vision to be used by God. Please pray for our national leaders to have visions from God. July 4th is the day we celebrate our freedom as a nation. Our pledge says, “One Nation Under God.” We pray to remember that religious freedom needs to be guarded by those of us who call ourselves Christians. We have the responsibility to ensure that those who died so we can worship openly are honored as we carry the banner high and do not become complacent.
– July 4th!!! Our nation, the United States of America, is 250 years old today. God bless America, and may America bless God. - And Esther won the favor of everyone who saw her (Esther 2:15). God placed Esther on the throne before His chosen people would face certain destruction. No one and nothing can thwart God’s plan. We pray to be open and bold to be used by God at any given time.
– July 4–7 – Four Seasons Craft and Flea Market, Carleton, MN – Singers - No one said a word to him because they saw how great his suffering was (Job 2:13). Job’s friends came to comfort him but saw he wasn’t able to receive anything from them because he was in such shock and grieving so deeply. We pray to be a channel of blessing to others in their time of need. We pray for guidance to know when to speak and when to just sit.
– July 6–10 – Texas FFA State Convention – Art Free - He reached down from on high and took hold of me; He drew me out of deep waters (Psalm 18:16). David, helpless and weak, knew that God alone had rescued him when he was defenseless. We pray to remember that in God’s care, we are never helpless.
– July 7–9 – Stick Work Days, Mardy, NY – Bill Brown - Drink water from your own cistern, running water from your own well (Proverbs 5:15). – July 6–12 – Logan County Fair, Bellefontaine, OH – Bill Nichols; Sauk County Fair, Baraboo, WI – Scott Fisher - For a man may do his work with wisdom, knowledge, and skill and then he must leave all he owns to someone who has not worked for it (Ecclesiastes 2:21). Hard work and perseverance often pay off with big dividends, but Solomon points out that this too is vain. He is not suggesting we sit around and do nothing. Rather, he reminds us that spiritual joy should be sought in order to truly enjoy material possessions. We pray for the joy of the Lord to be in our hearts as we go about our work lives.
– July 9–12 – North Stonington Fair, North Stonington, CT – Bill Brown - I will search for the one my heart loves (Song of Songs 3:2). The woman was searching for the one she loved, even in the middle of the night. We do little things for those we love, and those little things turn into the big things in the end. We pray to look for ways to show those we love that we will do things to ensure their safety and care for their needs.
– July 9–11 – Two Cylinder Expo, Canandaigua, NY – Bill Brown - Should not a people inquire of their God (Isaiah 8:19). The people were looking to mediums and spiritists to tell them the future. Only the Most High God holds the future in His hands. We pray for guidance from the only Source of hope and help.
– July 10–12 – 4 State Farm Show – Sarah Labriel & David Breeden - Is there no balm in Gilead (Jeremiah 8:22)? This is a rhetorical question. The obvious answer is yes—God. Gilead was famous for its healing medicine, but the people were in rebellion against God and suffering from spiritual sickness. We pray to know that God has a cure for our spiritual sickness. His name is Jesus.

– July 14–16 – Farm Technology Days, Stratford, WI – Scott Fisher
- Please test your servants for ten days; give us nothing but vegetables to eat and water to drink (Daniel 1:12). Daniel and his friends were captives in a foreign land. Any rebellion meant death, so Daniel proposed a ten-day trial. They were successful. We pray that we will follow Daniel’s lead and find ways to live by God’s standards in a culture that does not honor God.
– July 15–19 – Madison County Fair, Brookfield, NY – Bill Brown - I will give her back her vineyards, and will make the Valley of Achor a door of hope (Hosea 2:15). God uses even our negative experiences to create opportunities to turn back to Him. We pray that as we face problems and trials, we remember God speaks to us in the desert and not just in times of prosperity.
– July 14–19 – Benton Rodeo & Frontier Days, Benton, PA – Jim Johnson - Rend your hearts and not your garments (Joel 2:13). Deep remorse was often shown by tearing one’s clothes. We pray for inward repentance, not just outward penitence—a genuine confession from our spirit.
– July 17–19 – Lamoille County Fair, Johnson, VT – Flemings - You only have I chosen of all the families of the earth (Amos 3:2). Israel, God’s chosen nation, had nothing to do with deserving special treatment. God simply chose them. We pray to remember that God loves us just the way we are. We are special in His eyes because of our righteousness in Jesus Christ.
– Please pray for Niftaly’s mother. She has an eye condition that needs surgery. Please pray they find the funding so she can have the procedure.
- The house of Jacob will be a fire (Obadiah 1:18). Since the beginning, other nations have tried to get rid of Israel. God has even punished Israel for its sin. However, Israel is God’s chosen nation, and it still exists today. We pray to always be friends with God’s chosen nation.
– Please pray for Jules’ sister in Rwanda. She has an eye condition and a swollen breast. Jules feels a great responsibility to help pay for her treatment, but they are in a refugee camp and he cannot leave to work.

Obedience brings renewal and revival. We pray to remember there is no place God can’t reach us. Whether in the valley or on the mountaintop, we are thankful for second chances.
– Please join Pastor John in praying for India and for the salvation of many people.
- There the Lord will redeem you out of the hand of your enemies (Micah 4:10). Micah pronounced judgment on the people of Israel for their disobedience. At the same time, he preached that God would redeem them. We pray in thanksgiving that God is love.
– July 21–24 – FCFI Annual Conference, Branson, MO - Whatever they plot against the Lord He will bring to an end (Nahum 1:9). Babylon was a great nation. Nineveh was a great city. They are no more. We pray to be aware of God’s plans in our lives and in the life of our nation.
– Please join Pastor Joseph, a pastor from Kenya, in praying for God’s provision for a worship hall. They need a church building in which to meet.
- How long, O Lord, must I call for help but You do not listen (Habakkuk 1:2)? Injustice has always been rampant. We pray not to let our inability to understand all the evil in the world cause us to doubt God or rebel against Him. We pray for a godly perspective in the face of evil—knowing when to stand and be heard and when to sit and be silent.
– Please pray for the Great Awakening in the United States to grow stronger. Please pray this will become known as the Jesus Generation.
- Therefore, wait for Me,” declares the Lord, “for the day I will stand up to testify (Zephaniah 3:8). Justice will prevail. In the last days, God will judge all people. We pray not to avenge ourselves but to wait patiently upon the Lord’s justice.
– July 24–26 – Lebanon County Fair, Lockport, NY – Bill Brown - From this day on I will bless you (Haggai 2:19). God let the people know through Haggai that simply doing “church stuff” would not cleanse their sin—only repentance and obedience could do that. We pray for our eyes to be open to sin and rebellion in our lives and that we will turn from our wicked ways.
– July 25–26 – Milwaukee Air and Water Show – Scott Fischer - And I will pour out on the house of David and the inhabitants of Jerusalem a spirit of grace and supplication (Zechariah 12:10). It is this Spirit (the Holy Spirit) who convicts us of sin, reveals God’s righteousness and judgment, and helps us as we pray. We pray to understand that the Holy Spirit is interceding for us as we reach out to God in prayer.
– July 26–August 1 – Troy Fair, Troy, PA – Michael Steele - Have we not all one Father? Did not one God create us? (Malachi 2:10). There should be no double standard based on wealth or position. God loves us all! We pray for all people to come to the knowledge of Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior. We pray for each walking stick and every opportunity to share the Gospel.
– Please pray for Shea. She has moderate burns on her neck and chest. Pray that she heals without scarring.
- Produce fruit in keeping with repentance (Matthew 3:8). John the Baptist called people to more than words or ritual; he told them to change their behavior. God looks beyond our words to our hearts, which lead to our actions. We pray to be people who walk the walk and not just talk the talk.
– Please pray for Debbie. She is still under the care of a cancer clinic for several spots in her body. Please pray they continue to diminish in size.
- Then Jesus asked them, “Which is lawful on the Sabbath: to do good or to do evil, to save life or to kill?” (Mark 3:4). God’s law is meant to promote love for God and others. We should not use that same law to make inappropriate and harmful judgments. We pray to understand grace and mercy in such a way that we do not beat people up with the “Jesus Stick.”
– Please lift a hallelujah for the drought-breaking rain in the South, especially South Georgia. PTL!
- When all the people were being baptized, Jesus was baptized too (Luke 3:21). Why would Jesus, who is without sin, need to be baptized? Many explain it in different ways. One thing we can all agree on is that Jesus didn’t go to the Temple to be identified with the religious group. He went to the river to be identified with those who were repenting of sin. We pray for true repentance from the heart and a lifestyle that reflects that repentance.
– July 30–August 3 – Niagara County Fair, Lockport, NY – Bill Brown - After this He went down to Capernaum with His mother and brothers and His disciples. There they stayed for a few days (John 2:12). We often think of Jesus traveling only with His disciples, but Scripture shows that He had a great support group. We pray to be a support to those who are spreading the Gospel through word, deed, and ideas. We pray to be thankful for those who have answered God’s call to ministry through the pulpit or through missions.
– July 31–August 2 – OneFest Concerts, Cadott, WI – Scott Fisher
