Visitors line up outside the FCFI’s tent at Husker Harvest Days, eager to receive free walking sticks and ropes made with evangelistic colors—each one carrying the life-changing message of the Gospel
The Fellowship of Christian Farmers, International (FCFI) once again took part in Husker Harvest Days, Sept. 9-11, one of the largest agricultural shows in the United States. With more than 100,000 visitors each year, this event provides a tremendous opportunity to share the gospel of Jesus Christ with farmers, families, and international guests.
This year, FCFI volunteers handed out 1,600 walking sticks and nearly as many hand-crafted gospel color ropes. In all, 2,000 to 3,000 people heard a clear presentation of the gospel and were encouraged to begin or grow in their faith.

Rope-Making Ministry Draws Crowds
Lyndon Ochsner once again drew in crowds of young people with his popular rope-making demonstrations. This hands-on activity sparks curiosity and opens the door for meaningful conversations about Christ.

Lives Changed by the Gospel
Over the three days, the tent was filled with divine appointments, especially with FFA students showing deep spiritual hunger and joining in prayer.
- One FFA youth prayed with Jeff Goss to receive Christ. After his group left, he stayed behind, asking many questions about the Bible. When Jeff offered one-on-one discipleship through our new FCFI follow-up discipleship ministry, the student eagerly accepted.
- Another FFA girl prayed to receive Christ, then immediately brought several of her friends to hear the gospel—and they too gave their lives to Jesus.
- A man who had been quietly listening to Jeff speak to a group of students was deeply convicted. With tears of repentance, he joined the group in prayer and trusted Christ as his Savior.
Jeff made sure these new believers received Bible apps and follow-up literature to help them grow in their faith.
