Fall Mecum Tractor Auction: Sold!!

The Fall Mecum Tractor Auction ran from Thursday, November 17 through Saturday, November 19, 2022, in East Moline, Illinois at the Bend Expo Center.  Two fully restored John Deere garden tractors converted to mini 4020s were donated to the Fellowship of Christian Farmers, International were auctioned last Saturday morning at 10:00.  RFD-TV broadcasted the event.  FCFI was blessed with the sale of these tractors, donated by Don Miske.  Don also donated a full size 4020 last year to benefit FCFI.

The narrow front went first, and sold for $6,000.  Next up was the wide front mini 4020, which was bidded up to $13,500 when the hammer fell.  It was a very exciting couple of minutes!

Mecum auctioneers doing their thing

Mecum did a fantastic job creating interest and excitement for these tractors benefitting the Fellowship of Christian Farmers.  New tractor owner Mark Burres bought both restored tractors for his new twin grandsons.  What a fantastic gift!  Also, Mark is interested in partnering with the Fellowship of Christian Farmers in the future.  A real win/win for Mark and the Fellowship!

Next up for restoration, Don Miske purchased another John Deere 110 garden tractor at the Mecum Auction.  The plan is for it to be restored and sold at next fall’s auction.
