At the Farm Progress Show in Decatur, Illinois in late August, Andre Adams, a Brazilian working in the agricultural industry with soy seed, had an encounter that left a lasting impression. As he visited the FCFI booth, he witnessed something he had never seen before—a group of believers openly and joyfully sharing their faith. Filled with excitement, Andre expressed his desire to begin an FCFI chapter in Brazil, where he believes many could be reached with the message of Christ.
This exciting possibility has opened the door for new ministry partnerships. Dan Anderson of Brazil Gospel Fellowship Mission (BGFM) and FCFI executive director Dan Janzen are now in conversation about launching a joint FCFI/BGFM initiative in Brazil. Such a partnership would strengthen the presence of the Gospel in South America by combining the passion, resources, and networks of both ministries.
What began as a simple moment of inspiration has the potential to grow into a movement—uniting farmers, families, and communities across Brazil around the Good News of Jesus Christ. It is a powerful reminder of how God can use one encounter to spark vision for greater outreach, multiplying the impact far beyond what anyone could have imagined.
