Emergency Hay for Mountain Grove, Missouri

Loading hay to help drought-stricken Missouri

A long drought situation in the Mountain Grove, Missouri area followed by heavy rains and flooding has made it necessary to ship in hay to feed cattle. The Fellowship of Christian Farmers are here at Bob Yoder’s farm near Danvers, Illinois, preparing shipment of hay to Mountain Grove to help out 40 farming families to get through the next six weeks, until the spring grass returns.

Semi load of hay being loaded for delivery

40 large, round bales of hay will make this first trip, and FCFI hopes to keep this momentum going until needs are met. At this time, we are asking for prayer for the families hurt by the drought in Missouri, and for the ongoing efforts of FCFI and others who are donating time, money, and talents to help families in need.
