The FCFI executive director is encouraging volunteers to attend an excellent training program called Wholistic Disciple Making (WDM). It is more than a program—it’s a movement. By combining key elements of proven mission strategies, WDM equips believers to live out the gospel, multiply disciples, and display the Kingdom of God in a world that desperately needs hope.

This multi-faceted approach uses tools such as Community Health Evangelism (CHE), Integral Disciple Making (IDM), Samaritan Strategy (Harvestfoundation.org), and Coram Deo (Worldview and the Kingdom of God). Drawing from decades of hands-on ministry experience, WDM engages communities on every level—physically, spiritually, mentally, and socially—with the Good News of Jesus Christ.

At its heart, WDM is about transformation. With faith and identity in Christ as the foundation, individuals and entire communities experience renewal as disciples multiply and live out their calling.

A Different Kind of Training

This is not a typical classroom workshop. WDM uses interactive, life-on-life methods:

• Facilitated learning from the experience of participants
• Teaching formats that fit diverse learning styles
• Hands-on engagement in community life
• Outdoor practice in settings like gardens and farms
• Role-playing to understand real-world challenges
• Multi-sensory instruction that involves seeing, hearing, touching, and doing
