Prayer Guide – December 2022

For God, who said, Let light shine out of darkness, made His light shine
in our hearts to give us the light of the knowledge of the glory of God
in the face of Christ, (2Corinthians 4:6). Our inner light that refl ects
Jesus in our hearts should shine on our faces. We pray to be the light
of Christ in a dark world. 11/29-12/01 Greater Peoria Farm Show,

The Pastor’s Piece – November 13, 2022

Thanksgiving has always been my favorite holiday. There are several reasons, but one of the main ones is that growing up on the farm, Thanksgiving always was a celebration of the end of the work year. All those long days and nights in the field working, all the effort spent worrying about the weather and the crops and walking the fields. All the work it took to gather in the harvest – it was always a celebration when we got done.

FCFI Area Leader Report – Jeff Goss November, 2022

For the first time since covid hit, we were able to minister at the Northern Nation Navajo fair in Shiprock, New Mexico at the end of September and the beginning of October. Since the Navajos got hit hard with covid, I wasn’t sure how big the crowd would be at this fair. I believe this may have been the biggest crowd I have ever seen at the Navajo fair. Myself and several other people set up a booth inside the Fairgrounds in Shiprock where we passed out Wordless bracelets and walking and yard  sticks as well as Operators manuals and other Gospel tracts.

The Pastor’s Piece – November 6, 2022

Being in the profession that I am in, when meeting strangers, their reaction to me can be all over the board. My profession can either be a conversation starter or a conversation killer. When hearing that I am a pastor some people clam up and hardly say a word. One time a young couple showed up at our front door on a blistering winter night after having car trouble. I offered them a ride to their destination where they could get the necessary help they needed. It was about a 40 minute drive.

Prayer Guide – November, 2022

Now these are the people of the province who came up from the
captivity of the exiles, whom Nebuchadnezzar, king of Babylon, had
taken captive to Babylon (they returned to Jerusalem and Judah,
each to his own town, (Ezra 2:1). These people had to be able to
prove they were descendants of Abraham to have full privileges
of a Jew. We pray our lives refl ect our heavenly Father. Please
pray for John, a young father with liver cancer.
