Boomer Sooner Cowboy Revival: Reflections on the Tulsa Farm Show 2024

The Tulsa Farm Show 2024 has concluded, and what an incredible experience it was! I like to call it the “Boomer Sooner Revival,” but to ensure no one feels left out, let’s go with the “Boomer Sooner Cowboy Revival.” The event was marked by enthusiasm, meaningful conversations, and an overwhelming hunger for the gospel, making it a major success for the Fellowship of Christian Farmers.

A Harvest of Faith Among Youth and Adults

This year, we saw an incredible turnout from FFA students on Thursday, Friday, and even into Saturday. Many of these young people prayed with us to receive Christ, demonstrating a profound openness and eagerness for the gospel. It’s always inspiring to witness the next generation embracing faith with such fervor.

The revival didn’t stop with the youth. Adults, too, were stepping forward, opening their hearts to the transformative power of Christ. The growing hunger for the gospel we’re witnessing is truly remarkable—it’s as if a divine spark is igniting hearts across generations.

Conversations That Transform

At the Tulsa Farm Show, we encountered individuals from all walks of life—some from different religious backgrounds, others with misconceptions about the Bible. These conversations were opportunities to lovingly share biblical truth and clarify misunderstandings.

We often meet people who have attended church but have never heard the gospel message of salvation. Sharing scripture with them—illuminating the pathway to receiving Christ as Lord and Savior—is a powerful experience. It’s as if you can see the light of understanding dawning in their hearts.

Personally, I resonate with their journey. Though I grew up in church, it wasn’t until I was 14 at a football camp that I heard the gospel clearly and received Christ into my life. This moment of clarity is what we strive to bring to others.

A Hopeful Outlook

We left the show with hearts full of gratitude and hope. The best is yet to come, and we firmly believe that we are on the brink of witnessing the greatest spiritual harvest this world has ever seen.

A special shoutout goes to George Nobles, who was instrumental throughout the event. He’s been a blessing in so many ways, even if I teased him about not passing out all the walking sticks. Speaking of which, we distributed a significant number of those walking sticks, each one a reminder of God’s love and the gospel’s power.

Looking Ahead

As we wrap up this chapter, we’re excited to announce that our next farm show will be in West Monroe, Louisiana, this January. We’re looking forward to continuing this journey of faith and sharing the gospel with more people.

Thank you for your prayers, your support, and your encouragement. Together, we’re making an eternal impact. God bless you all!
