A Young Lady Reports how Her Life Changed since the Last Arkansas FFA State Convention Outreach – by Jeff Goss

The Arkansas FFA State Convention in Hot Springs, Arkansas was filled with meaningful conversations, powerful moments of prayer, and lives being impacted by the Gospel. As students visited the Fellowship of Christian Farmers booth throughout the event, many took time to hear the message of salvation and respond to the hope found in Christ.

According to Jeff Goss of Fellowship of Christian Farmers, the convention has already resulted in many students making decisions to follow Jesus. Yet among all the testimonies shared during the event, one story stood out in a particularly encouraging way.

One young woman returned to the booth to reconnect with the team after first encountering them at last year’s convention. She shared that during the previous event, she had been struggling spiritually and feeling weak in her faith. After receiving prayer and encouragement, she made the decision to follow Christ — a decision that would begin transforming many areas of her life in the coming year.

The student, Michelle Howell from Gordon, Arkansas, openly shared how her relationship with God has grown since that moment.

She explained that after praying to receive Christ, she began reading her Bible regularly, attending church consistently, and becoming more intentional about the influences and relationships in her life. She shared that God helped her walk away from unhealthy past relationships and led her into a healthier and more supportive environment.

Michelle also expressed gratitude for the strong support system and church family she now has around her. Looking back over the past year, she believes she has matured significantly in her faith and developed a much stronger relationship with Christ.

Her testimony serves as a powerful reminder that the Gospel does more than create emotional moments — it transforms lives. Through the work of the Holy Spirit, students are not only making decisions to follow Jesus, but are also growing spiritually, finding community, and building foundations of faith that continue long after the conventions end.

Jeff Goss shared his encouragement in seeing how God continues to move in the lives of young people across the country through FFA outreach events. From coast to coast, thousands of students are hearing the Gospel message at these conventions, and many are responding with open hearts.

As more conventions and outreach opportunities continue in the coming months, the FCFI asks for continued prayers and support. Each conversation, testimony, and transformed life is evidence that God is still working powerfully in the next generation.
