The late Feb. FCFI Marshfield, Wisconsin banquet marked a significant milestone for our chapter as we held our first regional conference. It was a day filled with fellowship, encouragement, and the exchange of ideas on how we, as believers, can actively advance the Kingdom of God. Attendees had the opportunity to connect with one another, strengthen their faith, and gain valuable insights from our four inspiring speakers.
Key Highlights from Our Speakers:
“Get Up and Go!” – Pastor of Mt. Zion Community Church, Lake Geneva
The conference began with an uplifting message reminding us of our calling as Christians to take action in our communities. The pastor urged us to focus outward, to be “salt and light” in the world, and to step boldly into the mission field of everyday life. By actively engaging with those around us, we can make a lasting impact for the Gospel.

A Unique Ministry at Riverside Bible Camp – President of Riverside Bible Camp, Amherst
We were inspired by the incredible work happening at Riverside Bible Camp. This ministry beautifully integrates farming, recreation, and faith-based programs to reach children and families from across the state and beyond. Their efforts serve as a model for how faith-based organizations can creatively engage communities and nurture spiritual growth.

Strength in Unity – Dan Janzen, Executive Director of FCFI
Dan Janzen emphasized the importance of connecting with other believers to collaborate on ideas for serving others and spreading the Gospel. He shared insights on outreach opportunities available both nationally and globally, encouraging us to work together to make a greater impact. Stay tuned, as we will be sharing some of these exciting outreach ideas in an upcoming post! For a copy of Dan’s presentation PowerPoint email him at dan@fcfi.org or call 6166766684.

“Be Bold!” – Pastor of Martintown Community Church, Southern WI
The final message of the day was a powerful call to courage in our faith. Echoing the words of a teenage congregation member, the pastor reminded us to always “Be bold!” In a world that often pressures believers to tone down their faith, we must stand firm and proclaim Jesus Christ as The Truth, The Life, and The Way. We are called to live out our faith with conviction and confidence. Kevin’s reflected on the boldness of their purchase of a large screen and radio equipment to broadcast to car radios so their church in the time of Covid could continue in the same manner as a drive-in theater. Their country church grew immensely during Covid as a result and that growth is still ongoing.
