The Fellowship of Christian Farmers International (FCFI) team recently completed a rewarding mission trip to Spruce Pine, North Carolina. From September 13 to 21, 2025, volunteers came together to serve the Lord with their hands, hearts, and skills—using their God-given gifts to build, repair, and encourage others in the name of Jesus Christ.

Each member brought something unique to the mission. Some of the men tackled major construction work—building a new deck, removing old siding, and replacing it with fresh materials. Their dedication and teamwork turned hard labor into an act of worship. Meanwhile, the ladies joined in with their own talents, repairing and painting homes. One team even added a creative touch by painting beloved Disney characters on the wall of a homeowner’s house, bringing joy and laughter to a family who needed encouragement.

The younger members of the group also contributed in a big way. Three young men spent hours splitting and cutting firewood for a local homeowner, ensuring they would have warmth and comfort through the coming cold months. Their willingness to serve demonstrated the next generation’s heart for ministry and compassion for others.

Beyond the work, the mission trip was a time of great fellowship. Volunteers shared meals, stories, and prayers—finding rest and renewal in both body and spirit. Around every table and worksite, there was laughter, encouragement, and the presence of God’s love.

Through every nail hammered, every brush stroke painted, and every log split, the FCFI team served not for recognition, but for the honor and glory of Jesus Christ. Their actions were a powerful testimony of faith in action—showing what it means to serve God by serving others.

As the team reflected on their time in Spruce Pine, they gave thanks for the opportunity to bless others and be blessed in return. The mission was not just about the projects completed, but about hearts touched and lives strengthened through the love of Christ.
