Pastor Rob shares the gospel with a group of ladies
It was late on a Saturday afternoon at the Flowertown Festival in Summerville, SC, when a beautiful encounter took place. Esther and Ron stepped into our booth and said, “We need to hear the Word.”
They were brought over to me so I could share the Gospel using the five colored beads—a simple but powerful tool that the Fellowship of Christian Farmers has used for many years. Esther was visibly excited and vocal as she listened, while Ron was more quiet. They shared that they had been married for several years and were now over eight months sober.
As I shared the Good News, they sat and soaked it in. Smiles were frequent, and eyes lifted upward in reverence for the truth of God’s Word. At one point, Ron reached over and gently grabbed Esther’s hand—an encouraging sign of their unity and agreement in receiving the message.

Kathy Brown
Cathy Brown shares a couple of experiences, the first one from the Manatee Festival in Crystal River, FL: “A young girl responded after I shared the Gospel,” she said, “responding with, ‘So that’s how you get saved!’” The girl then prayed to accept Christ. At the Strawberry Festival in Floral City, FL, a young 92-year-old lady accepted Christ with tears in her eyes.
They found joy and fellowship among believers in the booth and truly loved the experience. When Bill Brown came over with a card offering a free Bible study, they were ecstatic and promised to fill it out right away.
As this Charleston couple left with full hearts, Bill and I agreed—we were probably more blessed than they were. Before they left, I told them, “Come back next year and tell us how God has been working in your lives—and how you’ll be celebrating one year and eight months of sobriety!”

Pat Bielanski
Pat Bielanski sends this along: A woman stopped by the FCFI tent today at the Manatee Festival to share that she accepted Christ last year at the festival, went home, and was baptized a couple of weeks later. She wanted Pat to know that she was walking with the Lord.
Praise the Lord for divine appointments, changed hearts, and the ongoing power of the Gospel!
