Called to Make Disciples: A New Opportunity with FCFI

(Debbie & David Breeden and Sarah Labriel)

Earlier this year Fellowship of Christian Farmers International (FCFI) welcomed David and Debbie Breeden and their daughter, Sarah Labriel, from Oklahoma to the FCFI staff. David and Sarah serve as Area Leaders and Discipleship Coordinators, helping encourage believers to grow in their faith and invest in the spiritual growth of others.

David Breeden serves as an FCFI Area Leader and Men’s Discipleship Coordinator. Along with his wife, Debbie, he has a heart for encouraging believers to grow in their faith, become equipped through God’s Word, and invest in the lives of others.

Sarah Labriel serves alongside her father as an FCFI Area Leader and Women’s Discipleship Coordinator. With a passion for missions, mentoring, and discipleship, Sarah hopes to encourage women to deepen their walk with Christ and experience the joy of helping others grow spiritually.

Together, David and Sarah are helping FCFI build a stronger culture of discipleship and encouraging believers to answer Christ’s call to make disciples.

Growing a Culture of Discipleship

Jesus gave His followers a clear command: “Go and make disciples of all nations” (Matthew 28:19). Discipleship is at the heart of following Christ, and every believer has an opportunity to take part in this calling.

FCFI is introducing a new discipleship initiative to help believers grow deeper in their relationship with Christ and intentionally invest in the lives of others. Through prayer, biblical encouragement, accountability, and spiritual growth, participants can strengthen their faith while walking alongside others in their own faith journeys.

FCFI hopes to come alongside those who feel called to disciple others by providing training, encouragement, and practical tools. Through a partnership with Downline Ministries and the use of discipleship resources from Multiplication Ministries, FCFI aims to equip believers to use these materials effectively and confidently encourage others in their walk with Christ.

The goal is simple: to make disciples who make disciples. As David, Sarah, and the FCFI team help encourage this work, believers are invited to grow in Christ and share that growth with others.
