FCFI Recommends Eight Days of Hope for Hurricane Relief in Pensacola, Florida – October 15–31, 2026

Join the disaster relief effort and bring hope to families affected by Hurricane Isaias.

Eight Days of Hope is inviting volunteers to join its disaster response in Northwest Florida from October 15–31, 2026, to help families recover from the devastation caused by Hurricane Isaias.

The storm brought destructive winds, flooding, storm surge, heavy rainfall, and tornadoes, leaving damage to homes, businesses, roads, and infrastructure. As families begin the difficult process of recovery, volunteers are needed to provide practical assistance and share the hope of Jesus Christ.

How You Can Help

Volunteers will assist with various recovery efforts, including tarping damaged roofs, clearing debris, cutting dangerous trees, and helping families sort through their belongings.

Volunteers may check in on Thursday, October 15, beginning at 3:00 p.m. Dinner will be provided that evening, and the first full day of service will be Friday, October 16.

Serving is free and open to anyone ages 16 and older, subject to the outreach’s minor policy. Eight Days of Hope provides food and lodging so volunteers can focus on serving families in need
