The Creation Today ministry in Pensacola, Florida, sustained significant property damage during Hurricane Isaias. Despite the destruction, ministry leader Eric Hovind and his team were safe and thankful for the prayers and support they received.
Hovind shared an update following the storm, expressing gratitude to everyone who reached out to check on the team and pray for their safety.
Although the forecast initially suggested the hurricane would move east of Pensacola, the area experienced stronger impacts than expected. The storm brought down large trees, fences, power lines, and even power poles, leaving the ministry with extensive cleanup and repairs to address.
One of the biggest challenges has been restoring electricity so the ministry can resume its operations. With significant repairs needed, the team is taking things one step at a time while remaining grateful that everyone is safe.
How You Can Help
Volunteers with experience in fencing and other repairs are also welcome to help. Those interested can email comments@creationtoday.org with information about their skills and availability.
The team is asking for continued prayer for the ministry, the crews working to restore power, and neighbors affected by the storm.
Despite the challenges ahead, Creation Today remains committed to sharing the truth of God’s Word and the hope of the Gospel. The ministry is grateful for everyone who has offered prayers, encouragement, and practical support during this difficult time.
