Lives Changed at the Nebraska State FFA Conference 2026 – by John and Eileen Fethkenher

The Nebraska State FFA Conference in Lincoln, Nebraska once again became a meaningful opportunity to connect with students, share the Gospel, and witness lives being touched by the love of Christ.

Throughout the event, many students stopped by the booth with curiosity, openness, and a willingness to listen. Conversations that began casually often turned into deeper moments of faith, encouragement, and life-changing decisions.

One special moment took place when Eileen shared the message of the salvation bracelet with two female FFA students and their female chaperone. As she explained the meaning behind each bead and the story of salvation through Jesus Christ, all three listened attentively and eventually prayed together to accept Christ into their lives. It was a beautiful reminder that the Gospel continues to reach people of all ages and backgrounds.

Another encouraging experience came through reconnecting with students who had accepted Christ during last year’s conference. Seeing them again provided an opportunity to hear how their lives had changed since making that decision. When asked about the difference Christ had made in their lives, one young woman shared that she now felt happier and more full of life. A male student expressed that he now felt a deeper sense of fulfillment. These testimonies served as powerful encouragement that seeds planted through outreach continue to grow long after the event has ended.

One particularly memorable encounter happened when a female FFA student approached the booth with several other students. According to John, she looked at him as though she wanted him to say something. Then she spoke up and said, “Tell me that Bible story.”

John then shared the five-beaded salvation story, explaining the message of hope, forgiveness, and eternal life through Jesus Christ. As the students listened, their hearts were clearly engaged in the conversation. By the end of the discussion, the group prayed together to receive Christ.

Moments like these continue to remind the team why outreach at events such as the Nebraska State FFA Conference is so important. What may begin as a simple conversation or a colorful bracelet can become the starting point of a transformed life and a growing relationship with Christ.

The conference was filled with opportunities to encourage students, answer questions about faith, and share the hope of the Gospel in personal and meaningful ways. Each testimony stands as a reminder that God continues to work in the hearts of young people and that even small acts of obedience can have eternal impact.
