Jerry Rice and his evangelism volunteer team at the Oklahoma Farm Show (Names left to right: Mark Roberts, Rod Oyler, Jerry Rice, Dennis Sappenfield, Tim Wallace)
We are thankful to report on a fruitful time of ministry during the Oklahoma City Farm Show, held March 19–21. Once again, God provided opportunities to connect with people from across the agricultural community, creating space for meaningful conversations and spiritual encouragement.
While attendance was slightly lower compared to last year, the quality of interactions remained strong. Over the course of three days, our team estimates that we engaged with approximately 1,500 individuals. Each conversation represented more than just a brief evangelistic gospel-sharing encounter—it was also an opportunity to listen, to share and pray, and to speak hope into the lives of farmers, families, and agricultural professionals who often face both economic and personal challenges.
Many who stopped by the booth were open to discussing their faith, sharing their struggles, or simply receiving encouragement. Moments like these remind us how important it is to be present—not only to support the agricultural community practically, but also to uplift them spiritually.
A key part of this outreach was the incredible team of volunteers who made it all possible. Ten individuals faithfully served throughout the three-day event, offering their time, energy, dedicated to the evangelistic effort.
We are also grateful for God’s provision through the generosity of those who visited the booth. All donations received during the Oklahoma City Farm Show—given through both a cashier’s check and personal contributions—went directly toward supporting this outreach. In fact, the total amount given came very close to covering the full cost of participating in the event. This is a powerful reminder that when God calls us to step out in faith, He also provides through His people.
Beyond the numbers, what stands out most are the lives touched. Seeds of encouragement were planted, faith was strengthened, and relationships were built. We trust that God will continue to work in the hearts of those we connected with long after the event has ended.
Thank you to everyone who prayed, supported, and participated in this outreach. Your partnership is helping bring hope and truth to the agricultural community—one conversation at a time.
