FCFI Prayer Guide – November 2025

1.
Although it is true that I am near of kin, there is a kinsman-redeemer nearer than I. Stay here for the night and in the morning if he wants to redeem, good, let him redeem. But if he is not willing, as surely as the Lord lives, I will do it. Lie here until morning, (Ruth 3:12-13).
Ruth followed Naomi’s instructions on the correct way to approach Boaz. Boaz also followed the law in contacting his kinsman. We pray to live in faithfulness knowing our lives will extend beyond our lifetime and be a blessing to His name and a legacy for others.
Mule Day, Calvary GA, Bill Brown

2.
Do not keep talking so proudly or let your mouth speak such arrogance, for the Lord is a God who knows and by Him deeds are weighed, (1 Samuel 2:3).
Hannah’s prayer speaks to us today.
Please pray for Carolyn.

3.
They set the ark of God on a new cart and brought it from the house of Abinadab, which was on the hill. Uzzah and Ahio, sons of Abinadab, were guiding the new cart with the ark of God on it, and Ahio was walking in front of it. David and the whole house of Israel were celebrating with all their might before the Lord, with songs and with harps, lyres, tambourines, sistrums and cymbals, (2 Samuel 6:3-5).
David was taking the Ark of God to Jerusalem and having a great celebration. We pray to celebrate God’s Word as we learn and grow.
Please pray for Amy that her health will continue to improve.

4.
To Abiathar the priest, the king (Solomon) said, Go back to your fields in Anathoth. You deserve to die, but I will not put you to death now, because you carried the ark of the Sovereign Lord before my father David and shared all my father’s hardships,
(1 Kings 2:26).
Abiathar had been faithful to King David but not to Solomon, so Solomon stripped him of his priesthood which also fulfilled prophecy concerning Eli’s descendants. ALL our actions have consequences. We pray to make wise choices.
Please pray for a successful transition for the FCFI office to Kalamazoo MI.

5.
The wife of a man from the company of the prophets cried out to Elisha, your servant my husband is dead, and you know that he revered the Lord. But now his creditor is coming to take my two boys as his slaves, (2 Kings 4:1).
Elisha told the woman how to make the money needed to pay her debt and have money left over. We pray to be vessels God can use as we empty us of self and clean out the sin in our lives.
Please raise a Hallelujah for Kris and Jody and their faithful service for FCFI office in Lexington!!!

6.
David conferred with each of his officers, the commanders of thousands and commanders of hundreds. He then said to the whole assembly of Israel, if it seems good to you and if it is the will of the Lord our God, let us send word far and wide to the rest of our brothers throughout the territories of Israel, and also to the priests and Levites who are with them in their towns and pasturelands, to come and join us. Let us bring the ark of our God back to us, for we did not inquire of it during the reign of Saul. The whole assembly agreed to do this, because it seemed right to all the people, (1 Chronicles 13:1-4).
The Ark of the Covenant was the most sacred object in the Hebrew faith, and it had been sitting neglected for years. Now that the Tabernacle had been completed it was time for the Ark to be given the respect it deserved. We pray to put God’s Word foremost in our lives.
Please continue to pray for Debbie…she has had one of several surgeries for cancer…pray her news is good as she continues her treatments.

7.
There was nothing in the ark except the two tablets that Moses had placed in it at Horeb, where the Lord made a covenant with the Israelites after they came out of Egypt, (2 Chronicles 5:10).
The Ark was nothing special. But in faith, it represents the presence of God among His people. We pray to know we can be in God’s presence through the shed blood of Jesus.

8.
In the first year of King Cyrus, the king issued a decree concerning the Temple of God in Jerusalem: Let the Temple be rebuilt as a place to present sacrifices and let its foundations be laid. It is to be ninety feet high and ninety feet wide, with three courses of large stones and one of timbers. The costs are to be paid by the royal treasury. Also, the gold and silver articles of the house of God, which Nebuchadnezzar took from the Temple in Jerusalem and brought to Babylon, are to be returned to their places in Jerusalem: they are to be deposited in the house of God, (Ezra 6:3-5).
The ruling had been made and the rebuilding of the Temple started but had not been finished and had been questioned. King Darius had a search of the archives done and found the decree. God’s will be supreme over all rulers, all historical events and all hostile forces. He can deliver in ways we can’t imagine. We pray to trust in His power and love and let no opposition stop us in doing His will in our lives.

9.
Then the king (Artaxerxes), with the queen sitting beside him, asked me, how long will your journey take, and when will you get back? It pleased the king to send me, so I set a time, (Nehemiah 2:6).
Nehemiah went straight to the top when asking for help. He was granted his wish and began at once to go to Jerusalem. We pray to speak up about God’s will in our lives.
Please continue to pray for Mary Alice. She has leukemia and so far, treatment has not gotten her stabilized.

10.
King Xerxes replied to Queen Esther and to Mordecai the Jew, because Haman attacked the Jews, I have given his estate to Esther, and they have hanged him in the gallows, (Esther 8:7).
The king could not reverse his decree to have the Jews put to death without being able to defend themselves, but he could send out another one to offset the first one. We pray to be diligent in calling out to the Lord in defense of those in need.
Please pray the price of commodities will go up for our farmers…especially cotton.

11.
Your (God’s) hands shaped me and made me. Will You now turn and destroy me? Remember that You molded me like clay. Will You now turn me to dust again, (Job 10:8-9).
Job was crying out to God in his mourning. He gives us an example to follow when we have tragedy in our lives. We pray to mourn fully and cry out loud to God our Creator. He understands our grief.
Please pray for Patricia and family as they mourn the loss of Wayne after a long-time battle with cancer.

12.
In my distress I called to the Lord, I cried to my God for help. From His temple He heard my voice, my cry came before Him into His ears, (Psalm 18:6).
Here David is crying out to God in his distress. He and Job both are mourning but in different ways. We pray to be real in our grief…to turn to God for healing rather than turn away from Him in our anguish.
Please pray for some young people to get involved with FCFI.

13.
My son, preserve sound judgment and discernment, do not let them out of your sight, they will be life for you, an ornament to grace your neck, (Proverbs 3:21-22).
These truths give us insight that results from knowing and applying God’s Word in our lives. We pray to use discernment and sound judgment in our daily lives.
Please pray for the technical and innovative ways to reach people through FCFI and that it will be a success and many will come to salvation as a result.

14.
It is better to heed a wise man’s rebuke than to listen to the song of fools, (Ecclesiastes 7:5).
We often don’t want to admit we are wrong and try to justify our actions. Wise people help us stay on track in our lives if we listen and don’t get angry. Flattery often sounds good, but it can make us feel self-sufficient and in the long run we learn we can’t trust what they say. We pray to listen and learn from the wise.
Please pray for the revival in our country and around the world will continue to grow as people proclaim their identity through Christ.

15.
Listen! My lover! Look! Here he comes leaping across the mountains, bounding over the hills, (Song of Solomon 2:8).
God ordained love and lovers between men and women in the proper setting of marriage. We pray to celebrate God’s love for us and each other in ways pleasing to God.

16.
Jerusalem staggers, Judah is falling, their words and deeds are against the Lord, defying His glorious presence. The look on their faces testifies against them, they parade their sin like Sodom, they do not hide it. Woe to them! They have brought disaster upon themselves, (Isaiah 3:8-9).
So much of our society today in America is the same as Bible times. Sin abounds and demands to be celebrated. Woe to us as a nation. We pray to live by God’s guidelines.
Please pray for the safety of our farmers as they continue harvest time in the South.

17.
Therefore, the showers have been withheld, and no spring rains have fallen, yet you have the brazen look of a prostitute, you refuse to blush with shame, (Jeremiah 3:3).
Sin then and now has become rampant and common place and we justify it by sinning on Saturday and going to church on Sunday without repenting and turning away. Judgment is coming. We pray to see our sin through God’s view by studying His Word and letting the Holy Spirit change our behaviors.
Please pray for the seeds planted through the large EXPO show in South Georgia. It will take root, and people will come to salvation in Jesus Christ as a result of the walking sticks.

18.
I called on Your name, O Lord, from the depths of the pit. You heard my plea, do not close Your ears to my cry for relief, (Lamentations 3:55-59).
Jeremiah was thrown into a pit in real life. We sometimes get thrown into a proverbial pit because of the circumstances of our lives. We pray to call out to the Lord from our depths of despair, trusting He will hear us and rescue us.
Please pray for Dan, FCFI Executive Director, as he takes on the leadership role of guiding FCFI toward the future.

19.
Therefore, say to the house of Israel, this is what the Sovereign Lord says, Repent! Turn from your idols and renounce all your detestable practices, (Ezekiel 14:6).
The elders of Israel, with idols in their hearts, came to seek counsel from the Lord. Ezekiel told them what the Lord said—and is saying to us today. Repent and turn back to the Lord. We pray to lay aside all the things we know are displeasing to God.
Please pray for FCFI area leaders as they seek out opportunities to share the Gospel Message through the walking sticks in their areas.

20.
Nebuchadnezzar then approached the opening of the blazing furnace and shouted, Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego, servants of the Most-High God, come out! Come here! So, Shadrach, Meshach and Abednego came out of the fire, (Daniel 3:26).
Nebuchadnezzar could not believe what he saw and called the three out of the furnace and they didn’t even smell of smoke. A miracle. We pray to believe in miracles.
Please pray for Bill Brown as he continues his health battle.

21.
For I will be like a lion to Ephraim, like a great lion to Judah. I will tear them to pieces and go away, I will carry them off, with no one to rescue them, (Hosea 5:14).
God’s judgment was close at hand. He had given the Israelites years to repent and instead they became more rebellious. We pray to repent of our sins, not in words only, but in true repentance in our hearts.
21–22 McCook Farm and Ranch Show, McCook, NE, Jeff Goss

22.
Grain offerings and drink offerings are cut off from the house of the Lord. The priests are in mourning, those who minister before the Lord, (Joel 1:9).
The swarms of locust had destroyed everything so there was no fine flour nor wine for the offerings. The locusts were a warning from God for the people to repent and return to Him. We pray to not need total devastation in our lives to keep us focused on God.
Please pray for our country as it battles its own self.

23.
The words of Amos, one of the shepherds of Tekoa, what he saw concerning Israel two years before the earthquake, when Uzziah was king of Judah and Jeroboam son of Jehoash was king of Israel. He said: The Lord roars from Zion and thunders from Jerusalem, the pastures of the shepherds dry up and the top of Carmel withers, (Amos 1:1).
Amos, a sheep herder, was used by God to warn His people about coming destruction. We pray to be used by God in whatever our ordinary occupation is.
Please pray for those whose jobs are uncertain now.

24.
The Word of the Lord came to Jonah, son of Amittai, “Go to the great city of Nineveh and preach against it, because its wickedness has come up before Me,” (Jonah 1:1).
Even though Jonah loved God and had been a spokesperson for Him, he hated Nineveh more. So, Jonah rebelled against God’s command. We pray not to be a rebellious people.
Please pray for those of us who are Believers that we will act like it in the workplace.

25.
I will take vengeance in anger and wrath upon the nations that have not obeyed Me, (Micah 5:15).
Now we see why God was punishing His chosen people. Repeatedly, He gave them a chance to repent and return to Him and still they rebelled. Our world and especially America is in the same place today. We pray to listen as God is tenderly calling us home to Him.
Please pray for farmers in the South…they have had several rough years and now with commodity prices at low levels many will find themselves in decision and transition times this year…remember as the farmer goes so does our country.

26.
Who can withstand His indignation? Who can endure His fierce anger? His wrath is poured out like fire, the rocks are shattered before Him, (Nahum 1:6).
God is now pronouncing judgment on Nineveh, who He used to judge Israel. The people of Nineveh were especially cruel to the Israelites while they were in captivity. We pray to remember God has a plan.
Please pray for traveling mercies for those on the roads this holiday season.

27.
Flocks and herds will lie down there, creatures of every kind. The desert owl and the screech owl will roost on her columns. Their calls will echo through the windows, rubble will be in the doorways, the beams of cedar will be exposed, (Zephaniah 2:14).
Again, God’s judgment on Nineveh—a huge city thought to be impenetrable. All things are possible—or impossible—with God.
We pray to turn all over to God and let Him work His way in our lives.
Thanksgiving Day!!! Be very Thankful!

28.
This is what the Lord Almighty says, “Many peoples and the inhabitants of many cities will yet come, and the inhabitants of one city will go to another and say, Let us go at once and entreat the Lord and seek the Lord Almighty. I myself am going,” (Zechariah 8:20-21).
We praise God that He is a God of mercy. Times of fasting will be replaced with times of joy. We pray to seek the Lord Almighty.
Please pray as we go into the holiday season that our lights will shine for Jesus.

29.
Surely the day is coming, it will burn like a furnace. All the arrogant and every evildoer will be stubble, and that day that is coming will set them on fire, says the Lord Almighty. Not a root or a branch will be left to them, (Malachi 4:1).
The voice of doom for non-believers and the voice of hope for believers. We pray for all to come to the Lord Almighty before it is too late.
28–30 Amarillo Farm Show, Amarillo, TX, Jerry Rice

30.
But I tell you, do not swear at all, either by heaven, for it is God’s throne, or by the earth, for it is His footstool, or by Jerusalem, for it is the city of the Great King, (Matthew 5:34-35).
Oaths and vows were common in Jesus’ day. He is saying if we are a people of character, our word should be enough—we don’t have to add anything at the end. If we tell the truth all the time, people will know we are people of our word.
We pray to be truthful in our dealings with others.
