Enjoying the Minnesota State Fair, Crossroads Chapel
We’re already looking ahead to 2026, praying for some weighty doors to open.
Pete, my sister Diane, and I spent a few hours at the Minnesota State Fair, where we met up with Doug Peterson, who is active with the Fellowship of Christian Farmers International (FCFI) and serves on the board of the Crossroads Chapel.
Crossroads Chapel shares Jesus at the state fair and other events across Minnesota. We’re excited about the possibility of joining our Crossroads friends for a full day of ministry at next year’s fair. What a tremendous opportunity for FCFI to share the gospel and its vision to reach people for Jesus Christ.
Please pray that God will open the door for this to happen. Over 200,000 people attend the fair each day, and what a harvest field that is!

Bearing Fruit in Every Season
As Pete and I journey through our seventies, we hold tightly to this promise from Psalm 92:14–15
“They still bear fruit in old age… to declare that the LORD is upright; He is my rock, and there is no unrighteousness in Him.”
Before we left for the Farm Progress Show, we also read these words from Jeremiah 29:13
“You will seek Me and find Me, when you seek Me with all your heart.”
With that promise in mind, we began praying that God would send people to the FCFI tent who are seeking Him with all their heart — and He did, in amazing ways.
We continue to be amazed that God would use two “old folks” like us to reach the young. Along our road, He keeps showing us that everyone — old and young alike — longs to feel loved and significant. When we approach others with that heart, they listen. We ask about their lives and truly listen to their stories. That’s often the key that opens the door to meaningful conversation and, we pray, the decision to say yes to Jesus.
In times filled with hate and deceit, Jesus Christ remains the only answer. What a privilege it is to play even a small part in what the Lord is doing in our world today. No power on earth can stop His work!

Walking Through Grief and Hope
We are deeply grateful to all who prayed for our dear son, Peter Louis Singer.
Peter went home to be with Jesus on May 1. Though we know he is with his Savior, the ache of missing his hugs and his gentle voice is real and deep. We grieve for his wife, Chris, and for our grandchildren who miss their dad dearly.
Grief is painful — but we grieve with hope, knowing there are more hugs to come and that we’ll hear Peter’s precious voice again in eternity. Praise God for the hope we have in Jesus Christ.
Over 300 people attended Peter’s Celebration of Life. After returning home, we took time to rest in God’s Word. Sandy taught a class on Heaven, which was more meaningful than ever. Around that time, Pete’s best friend, Doug Jackson, also passed away. Doug was a faithful supporter and wise counselor to us — he will be greatly missed.

Sandy only worked 1 day of the 3-day event, but in that day, she was able to pray with over 30 folks for salvation. She told Pete,
“It had nothing to do with me. The folks came ready to say yes to Jesus. One teenage girl who prayed for salvation returned with 5 friends who also put their faith in Jesus Christ”
Moving Forward with Renewed Purpose
As we head into the busy fall season, our hearts are more committed than ever to sharing Jesus with a hurting world. It’s our calling — and truly, it’s every believer’s calling.
We thank each of you for your prayers and for standing with us in ministry. On October 11, we’ll head to Moultrie, Georgia for the Sunbelt Agricultural Exposition, our biggest event of the year. From there, we’ll continue on to the Dragonboat Races and several other fall events. Please pray with us that the Lord will send seekers our way.

The couple pictured with Sandy were within days of getting married. They both prayed for salvation and have now started their married life with Jesus as the Lord of their home. Miraculously, it was one of the few times Sandy had only 2 people in her circle, which was perfect for doing needed follow-up and praying for God’s blessing on their marriage
Prayer Requests
- Praise God for all He is doing — for souls saved and for believers growing in Christ.
- For our family — God knows each need.
- For our health and our continued journey through grief. Sandy needs surgery to remove a joint in her toe, but her doctor must first lower her uric acid levels. She also faces upcoming treatment for vein issues affecting blood flow to her heart.
- For those who have recently accepted Jesus — that they will grow in their faith and find strong church homes.
- For our new neighborhood Bible study — that lives will be changed.
- For the health of our car — the miles are adding up!
- For Pete’s siblings — several are in poor health. His brother David is on hospice care; one sister is recovering from spinal meningitis; another has broken her back and is battling cancer. Please pray for healing, comfort, and strength.
- For upcoming events and needed financial support.
- For wisdom as we meet with the pastor of a local church about possible ministry partnership.
As we continue this journey, we’re reminded that every season — joy or sorrow, youth or old age — is an opportunity to bear fruit for God’s glory. Thank you for walking with us along this road!
With Gratitude and Love,
Pete and Sandy Singer
