FCFI Prayer Guide – October 2025

  1. On the twenty-fourth day of the ninth month, in the second year of Darius, the Word of the Lord came to the prophet Haggai, (Haggai 2:10). Some days are mundane and others we remember specifically and completely.
We pray to be so focused on God that we can remember His Words to us. Please raise a shout of Halleluiah for Debbie…after treatments her cancer is much improved!!!

  2. But they (God’s people) made their hearts as hard as flint and would not listen to the law or to the Words that the Lord Almighty had sent by His Spirit through the earlier prophets. So, the Lord Almighty was very angry, (Zechariah 7:12). Zechariah was explaining to the people how their ancestors chose to continually sin until God punished them.
    |We pray to be sensitive and submissive to God’s Word in our lives. Vendor Fair, Teel Farms, Barneveld, NY, Bill Brown

  3. Will a man rob God? Yet, you rob Me. But you ask, how do we rob You? In tithes and offerings. You are under a curse, the whole nation of you, because you are robbing Me, (Malachi 3:8-9). God had given a command for the people to tithe their income for His Temple. Many of the people were ignoring this command.
We pray to remember we are not cisterns for holding our resources but channels of blessing to be poured out. 2-5 Northern Navajo Nation Fair, Shiprock, NM, Jeff Goss

  4. Again, the devil took Him (Jesus) to a very high mountain and showed Him all the kingdoms of the world and their splendor. All this I will give You, he said, if You will bow down and worship me, (Matthew 4:8-9). Satan was trying to distort Jesus’ perspective by making Him focus on worldly power and not on God’s plans.
We pray to stay focused on God’s plans for our lives. 3-5 Ozark Fall Farm Fest, Springfield, MO, Jeff Goss

  5. The people were all amazed that they asked each other, What is this? A new teaching, and with authority! He even gives orders to evil spirits and they obey Him, (Mark 1:27). Jesus went about His days teaching and healing. His authority was through God His Father and it amazed people. They were trying to figure out who He was.
We pray to be a light to those seeking to know Him. Wintergreen Harvest Festival, Canajoharie, NY, Bill Brown

  6. Then, an angel of the Lord appeared to him, standing at the right side of the altar of incense. When Zechariah saw him, he was startled and was gripped with fear, (Luke 1:11). The angel Gabriel appeared in visible form and spoke audible words to Zechariah and told him his prayers had been answered.
We pray to know God as the God of the impossible and to believe He answers our prayers. 4-6 Harwinton Fair, Harwinton, CT, Bill Brown

  7. Now this was John’s testimony when the Jews of Jerusalem sent priests and Levites to ask Him who He was. He did not fail to confess, but confessed freely, I am not the Christ, (John 1:19-20). These Pharisees wanted to know who John was but he wanted them to know who Jesus is.
We pray to point others toward Jesus and not toward us. Please pray for Chad and all of his needs…he was recently in a serious accident.

  8. When the day of Pentecost came, they (Believers) were all together in one place. Suddenly a sound like the blowing of a violent wind came from heaven and filled the whole house where they were sitting, (Acts 2:1-2). When the Holy Spirit came to the Believers there were many visiting from different countries and many were converted immediately, thus a worldwide revival as these people took the Good News back to their own nations.
We pray to be open to the Holy Spirit in our lives. 8-10 Tioga County Early Days, Whitneyville, PA, Michael Steele

  9. We know that the law is spiritual, but I am unspiritual, sold as a slave to sin, (Romans 7:14). As unbelievers we are slaves of sin. As Believers we are no longer under the law of sin and death, we are under grace, even though we can choose to sin.
We pray to understand greater in He that is in me than he that is of the world. Please pray for Shae. She was recently in an accident that caused the death of a man…pray for the man’s family as well…tragic situation.

  10. For the wisdom of this world is foolishness in God’s sight. As it is written: He catches the wise in their craftiness, (1 Corinthians 3:19). Worldly knowledge has its place but cannot help us get into the kingdom of God.
We pray for spiritual wisdom. 11-13 Riverton Fair, Riverton, CT, Bill Brown

  11. We are not trying to commend ourselves to you again, but are giving you an opportunity to take pride in us, so that you can answer those who take pride in what is seen rather than in what is in the heart, (2 Corinthians 5:12). Paul and his companions were telling others that what is in the heart is more important than what is speculated to be important when seen.
We pray to reach and preach for eternity and not worldly gain. Please pray for the family of Charlie Kirk.

  12. Does God give you His Spirit and work miracles among you because you observed the law, or because you believe what you heard, (Galatians 3:5). Pride in OUR ability OR belief in Jesus’ death, burial and resurrection as our Salvation is our options.
We pray to believe that Jesus paid for our sin and our sins. Please pray that the outpouring of God’s praise and many Salvations around the world continues as God is moving in miraculous ways.

  13. I pray that out of His glorious riches He may strengthen you with power through His Spirit in your inner being, (Ephesians 3:26). God’s love is total and all consuming. As we open our hearts and our lives, He will fill us with the Holy Spirit for everything we need. The peace that passes all understanding.
We pray to be open to the strength and power of the Holy Spirit. Please pray for Alice and Mary Dale…both are having continued bouts of dizziness.

  14. I eagerly expect and hope that I will in no way be ashamed, but will have sufficient courage so that now as always Christ will be exalted in my body, whether by life or by death. For to me, to live is Christ and to die is gain, (Philippians 1:20-21). Paul’s whole purpose in life was to speak out boldly for Christ and to become more like Him.
We pray to be certain of our eternal destiny and thus devote our lives to what really matters, without fear of death. 14-16 Sunbelt Agriculture EXPO, Moultrie, GA, Bill Brown

  15. All over the world this Gospel is bearing fruit and growing, just as it has been doing among you since the day you heard it and understood God’s grace in all its truth, (Colossians 1:5-6). In our area, people are returning to the church and others are coming for the first time to hear the teachings of Jesus.
We pray for the Salvation of many through the death, burial and resurrection of our Lord Jesus Christ. Please pray for Liz…she has several medical problems.

  16. Now we ask you, brothers, to respect those who work hard among you, who are over you in the Lord and who admonish you. Hold them in the highest regard in love because of their work. Live in peace with each other, (1 Thessalonians 5:12-13).
We pray to be encouragers of those spreading the Gospel. Please pray for the family of Wayne Dunn…he has fought a good fight but has now gone to be with the Lord.

  17. I, Paul, write this greeting in my own hand, which is the distinguishing mark in all my letters. This is how I write. The grace of our Lord Jesus Christ be with you all, (2 Thessalonians 3:17-18). Some of Paul’s teachings seem hard but he always adds the grace of Jesus which is with all Believers.
We pray to know grace is followed by obedience. Pioneer Dazes, Sebring, FL, Bill Brown

  18. They (false prophets) forbid people to marry and order them to abstain from certain foods, which God created to be received with thanksgiving by those who believe and who know the truth, (1 Timothy 4:3). False teachers have always been around and usually using their teaching for personal gain or personal piety. Neither one is from God.
We pray to use spiritual discernment when listening to teachers and preachers. Mt Ephraim Baptist Church Family Day, Arcadia, FL, Bill Brown

  19. Remember Jesus Christ, raised from the dead, descended from David. This is my Gospel, for which I am suffering, even to the point of being chained like a criminal. But God’s word is not chained, (2 Timothy 2:8-9). Paul was saying Jesus was fully man and fully God…disputing some popular beliefs. The truth about Jesus is no more popular today than in Paul’s day.
We pray to continue to proclaim the truth that Jesus is the way, the truth and the life…amen and amen. Please pray for Mary Alice…she has a rare kind of leukemia.

  20. He (we) must turn from evil and do good, he must seek peace and pursue it, (1 Peter 3:11). Being a peacemaker is more than the absence of conflict. It is a lifetime commitment of building good relationships by anticipating problems and dealing with situations before they occur.
We pray to live the life of a peacemaker. Hellers Orchard Apple Festival, Wapwallopen, PA, Michael Steele

  21. Simon Peter, a servant and apostle of Jesus Christ, to those who through the righteousness of our God and Savior Jesus Christ have received a faith as precious as ours, (2 Peter 1:1). Peter is writing this letter to new Believers who through faith have accepted that Jesus was/is the Messiah.
We pray for this precious faith to abound in our lives as we also share the Gospel. Please pray for our farmers. Harvest is going wide open in the South and people are tired…please pray for safety.

  22. This is the message you heard from the beginning, we should love one another, (1 John 3:11). Love is of God. If we love each other, we are fulfilling God’s desire of our hearts.
We pray to be lovers and not haters and those who stir up trouble. Please, please pray for cotton prices to rebound…our livelihoods depend on it.

  23. To those who have been called, who are loved by God the Father and kept by Jesus Christ: Mercy, peace and love be yours in abundance. As Believers,
We pray to be filled with mercy, peace and love. Please pray for our young students…pray their young minds and hearts will be blocked to lies and fear and open to God’s message.

  24. For the Lamb at the center of the throne will be their shepherd, He will lead them to springs of living water. And God will wipe away every tear from their eyes, (Revelation 7:17). Jesus is our great Shepherd and there will be no need for tears as He will provide every need.
We pray to have melodies in our hearts for the time to come. Please pray for the Holy Land Farms project in South Georgia…that God will use this in a miraculous way to draw people to Him.

  25. And God said, let there be lights in the expanse of the sky to separate the day from the night, and let them serve as signs to mark seasons and days and years, and let them be lights in the expanse of the sky to give light on the earth. And it was so, (Genesis 1:14-15). God created everything in an orderly fashion and saw that it was good.
We pray to celebrate all that God has provided and to take care of our little corner of the world. Apple Festival, Congregational Church, Salem, CT, Bill Brown

  26. The Lord descended to the top of Mount Sinai and called Moses to the top of the mountain. So, Moses went up and the Lord said to him, go down and warn the people so they do not force their way through to see the Lord and many of them perish, (Exodus 19:20-21). God knew the people were restless and unruly, but they were His people and He didn’t want to harm them.
We pray to worship God right where we are. Pioneer Days, Lake Wales, FL, Bill Brown

  27. If the anointed priest sins, bringing guilt on the people, he must bring to the Lord a young bull without defect as a sin offering for the sin he has committed, (Leviticus 4:3). Different animals were used for different sins committed. The death of Jesus was the final sacrificial sin offering.
We pray a prayer of thanksgiving and praise for our Savior. Please pray for our college students…pray for a great awakening and a renewing of their faith.

  28. Then the leaders of Israel, the heads of families who were the tribal leaders in charge of those who were counted, made offerings, (Numbers 7:2). After the Tabernacle was set up, anointed and consecrated, the people brought offerings to help in the everyday use in the Tabernacle.
We pray to offer our best to the Lord. Please pray for our country. God is moving…find where He is working and join Him there.

  29. Set out now and cross the Arnon Gorge. See, I have given into your hand Sihon the Amorite, king of Heshbon and his country. Begin to take possession of it and engage him in battle, (Deuteronomy 2:24). When the people of Israel acted out of obedience, God was with them in battle.
We pray to trust and obey when God speaks to us. Please pray for FCFI…as doors were being closed, pray even more will be open for events.

  30. See the ark of the covenant of the Lord of all the earth will go into the Jordan ahead of you, (Joshua 3:11). The Israelites were going into the Promised Land. God was going before them as symbolized in the ark of the covenant.
We pray to put God first in our lives then all other things will fit together and come out right. Please pray for wisdom and guidance for those seeking answers and having to make important decisions in life.

  31. Then the men of Judah said to the Simeonites their brothers, come up with us into the territory allotted to us, to fight against the Canaanites. We in turn will go with you into yours. So, the Simeonites went with them, (Judges 1:3). Each tribe was responsible for driving out the remaining enemy from its own territory. God had already given the victory; they just had to claim it.
We pray to claim victory over our personal enemies. Watsontown Light the Night, Milton, PA, Michael Steele
