1 Corinthians 10:13
No temptation has overtaken you except such as is common to man; but God is faithful, who will not allow you to be tempted beyond what you are able, but with the temptation will also make the way of escape, that you may be able to bear it
| We are tempted at many points of our lives, but it is up to us to reach out to the Lord so that we are able to escape the temptation. This Bible verse reminds us that the Lord makes a way of escape from every temptation, but we have to be faithful to reach out to Him. The Lord is always faithful to us. We are the ones that do not reach out and ask the Lord for help and so then we fall into the temptations that surround us. The temptations that are around us are not unique to us or our situations, but are common to all men and women. The difference is will you act as a Child of God? Do you look to God and the way of escape? We must come to the Lord everyday in prayer to maintain a strong relationship with Him to be able to resist the temptations the evil one will throw in our way constantly. Lord God I come to You right now asking You to help me resist anything that weakens my relationship with You. Help me to refuse anything that comes before me that would compromise my faith and love for Lord Jesus. Give me the strength I need everyday to say no to or even flee from stumbling blocks the evil one places before me. And I pray this for all my brothers and sisters in Lord Jesus. If we must endure difficult times, Lord give all of us Your strength to get through each difficult time. In Jesus name, Amen!! Prayer Requests!
