FCFI Shares Christ at FFA State Conventions – by Jeff Goss

The Fellowship of Christian Farmers International (FCFI) is witnessing powerful moves of God across various FFA State Conventions this year. Recently, FCFI teams ministered at the Arkansas and Missouri State Conventions, where they encountered hundreds of students eager to hear and respond to the Gospel.

The receptiveness among students has been remarkable. Many young attendees prayed to receive Christ and gratefully accepted New Testaments, Christian literature, and follow-up materials. One student from St. Charles, Missouri, was so moved after praying with the FCFI team that he immediately expressed a desire to join the ministry. Stories like his are becoming more common as students continue to show genuine enthusiasm for learning more about faith and service.

Numerous students returned to the FCFI booth to share how their decision to follow Christ at last year’s convention had transformed their lives. They spoke of consistent Bible reading, prayer, and involvement in local churches and youth groups. One student even returned wearing the salvation bracelet he received the previous year, proudly sharing that he wears it every day. Teachers, advisors, and parents have also expressed appreciation for the presence of FCFI Shares Christ at FFA State Conventions.

Several shared that they had encouraged students to visit the booth and engage in conversation. Other students spoke of Bible studies being held at hotels during the event, and of leading devotions in their schools. FCFI’s outreach is not only drawing students to Christ but also strengthening and equipping young believers to grow in their faith and share it with others.

In addition to sharing the Gospel, FCFI is focused on discipleship. Students are being taught how to stand in faith, live Spirit-led lives, and maintain peace and joy in a challenging world. Isaiah 26:3 and Romans 14:17 serve as guiding scriptures in this effort, helping young people understand the importance of trusting God and living in His kingdom of righteousness, peace, and joy.

FCFI leaders emphasize the need for continual praise, worship, and spiritual renewal through reading God’s Word. These tools are vital for students facing the emotional and spiritual battles common in today’s culture. The team also encourages youth who sense a call to ministry, providing support and guidance to help them pursue that calling.

In the coming weeks, FCFI will participate in the Oklahoma FFA State Convention in Tulsa, where over 12,000 students are expected to attend. Simultaneously, FCFI leaders will minister at the Washington FFA State Convention. Following that, the team will return to the Four State Farm Show in Pittsburg, Kansas.

We encourage you to continue praying for open hearts and lasting impact as FCFI shares the hope of the Gospel with the next generation.
