At the Holmes County Show FCFI Highlighted Faith, but the show emphasized Self-Sufficiency
The recent Food Independence Summit held in Holmes County drew an incredible crowd of approximately 4,000 people. The event wasn’t just about agriculture and sustainable living—it also became a powerful platform for our booth to promote our ministry of hope of salvation and transformed lives.
While the summit focused on equipping people with practical knowledge on how to survive and thrive on small acreage, empowering attendees to become more self-sufficient in a changing world, our FCFI mission was to bring people to the realization of their need for salvation.
Our team had the opportunity to engage with thousands of guests, distributing over 550 walking sticks, each representing a step toward both physical and spiritual journey. We also handed out around 300 bracelets, used books, bookmarks, and most importantly, the Owner-Operator Manual explaining the salvation story of the 5 colors of beads, which was given to nearly 1,000 visitors.
Kevin Wade and Calvert Woolums played vital roles in ministering the story of salvation, leading many to a life-changing encounter with Christ. We were blessed to witness many salvations throughout the event.
Special thanks to Bill Nichols, our area leader, who skillfully coordinated our presence at the show, ensuring everything ran smoothly and that every visitor had the opportunity to hear the message of hope.
