Dan Janzen Recommends Attending Cornwall Alliance First-Annual Conference

A Personal Recommendation for Attending the Cornwall Alliance Conference

I want to personally encourage you to consider attending the first-ever Cornwall Alliance Spring Conference this May 1–2. I am looking forward to attending and hope you’ll join me in taking advantage of this important event.

Why You Should Attend

The president, Calvin Beisner, is a personal friend and a highly influential voice in Christian apologetics, particularly on issues that directly affect farmers. His work addresses the pressures and restrictions farmers face from extreme environmental agendas, including the Endangered Species Act, loss of pesticide registrations, policies that convert “best management practices” into restrictive regulations, land loss to wind and solar farms, limitations on water and irrigation rights, constraints on riparian zone and land drainage management, loss of drilling, mining, and grazing rights, dam removals, and restrictions on brush control or wildfire management. If you are not equipped to defend your land and farm management decisions against these policies, you risk losing critical tools and options that allow your farm to thrive. Calvin’s teaching provides both the biblical perspective and practical guidance needed to understand and respond to these challenges to our freedom to farm and ranch.

Additionally, Calvin Beisner, will be a keynote speaker at the upcoming FCFI Annual Conference in Branson, connecting these themes directly to farming, discipleship and worldview training.

The Cornwall Alliance for the Stewardship of Creation Spring Conference will be held May 1–2, 2026 at the Main Chapel on the Union University – Memphis/Cordova campus. The conference equips believers to think clearly about how faith intersects with culture, science, economics, and ethics—providing tools to disciple young people in a world full of competing narratives. (Register at cornwallalliance.org.)

Faith + Worldview Are Inseparable

Discipleship isn’t just about personal holiness — it’s about helping believers understand why they believe what they believe and how biblical truth applies to the world around them. Attending this conference can help you equip the next generation to navigate today’s culture with discernment, courage, and a solid biblical foundation.

Speakers to Inspire and Equip

Investing in the Next Generation

Young believers today face strong cultural pressures—from climate alarmism to ethical confusion. This conference addresses these challenges with sound apologetics and a biblical framework, giving students and young adults tools to understand the world, engage others with truth, and serve Christ courageously. Free admission and lunch are available for students who register.

The teaching and resources shared at Cornwall Alliance can enhance your discipleship efforts at home, in your ministry, or with younger leaders, providing practical ways to strengthen biblical worldview thinking.
