A Personal Recommendation for Attending the Cornwall Alliance Conference
I want to personally encourage you to consider attending the first-ever Cornwall Alliance Spring Conference this May 1–2. I am looking forward to attending and hope you’ll join me in taking advantage of this important event.
Why You Should Attend
The president, Calvin Beisner, is a personal friend and a highly influential voice in Christian apologetics, particularly on issues that directly affect farmers. His work addresses the pressures and restrictions farmers face from extreme environmental agendas, including the Endangered Species Act, loss of pesticide registrations, policies that convert “best management practices” into restrictive regulations, land loss to wind and solar farms, limitations on water and irrigation rights, constraints on riparian zone and land drainage management, loss of drilling, mining, and grazing rights, dam removals, and restrictions on brush control or wildfire management. I (Dan Janzen) have read this book at least twice, and it is an essential read for anyone concerned about the cultural slide into apostasy and heresy often led by the so-called “Christian” church itself.
- Vijay Jayaraj – Environmental scientist and research associate with the Cornwall Alliance, Vijay provides a biblically faithful perspective on complex issues like energy and the environment and has written extensively about how CO2 increase is beneficial to the productivity of our planet (a fertilizer for plants).
- Patricia Engler – Working in connection with Answers in Genesis, Patricia focuses on bioethics and applied apologetics. Her presentations equip believers to confront cultural ideologies and defend biblical truth thoughtfully and winsomely.
