And let us consider how we may spur one another on toward love and good deeds,
Paul's letters to the people were often very encouraging and up lifting. He did not want the people to live with fear, depression, disappointment, or to ever feel alone. Paul reminded us we can all help each other out. People are very socially centered and when we do not have people in our lives it can get very hard to face each new day. Look at the picture how everyone is encouraging the runner to finish the race. Life is a race to the finish line. Our finish line where we can finally celebrate a good race run, or a good life lived, is arriving in heaven to spend eternity with the Lord, with Jesus, and with our family and friends. There is a lot of bitterness and hate in this world. Life can be so difficult. Work hard while on this earth to encourage everyone we meet. Show love and compassion. Let people see the love of the Lord coming from you. Take time to help people when they need an extra hand, to encouraging them in difficult times, to lift up their spirits during times of depression, and to try to make their lives a little easier. After all, we are all in this big race together and we all have these difficult moments at some point.
Lord, help me to always be encouraging to other people. Life can be hard and I know that very much first hand. Help me to make a difference in other people's lives by helping them and encouraging them in their lives each day. I want to be a very positive difference maker in this difficult world. Help me to always show Jesus Christ to everyone in my words and my actions! In Jesus name, amen!!
