Today we celebrate Jesus resurrection from the dead.
Jesus defeated death and satan.
Because our Savior lives, we can now have everlasting life in heaven.
Jesus truly is the Son of God!!
Oh, how important it was for Jesus to die on the cross. He did not really want to do that. He even prayed to the Lord when He was in the garden to change the plans. But, there was no other way for us to be made clean from our sins and Jesus suffered torture and died on the cross as payment for all the people of the world. He shed His life saving blood taking the punishment we all deserve. Oh, how important for Jesus to die on the cross. But the process does not end at the cross.
Jesus arose from the dead, He came out of the tomb, and is alive today!
We have forgiveness of our sins from the Lord AND eternal life because Jesus lives!! If Jesus does not resurrect, we do not have eternal life in heaven. All humans will die but none will resurrect from the dead by their own power. Jesus was proving He really is God by coming back to life under His own power for the glory of God. Satan thought at the cross that he would now be god. But Jesus crushed Satan's plans and came back to life!! Because Jesus rose from the dead, all those that come to Jesus will have eternal life in heaven!! This is the true meaning of Easter.
Lord, I ask that those that do not know You, those that believe You exist but do not care, those who have rejected You, or even those that deny Your existence, will come to know You today and receive Jesus into their hearts for the most wonderful gift the world has ever been given. The gift Jesus gave us with His death and resurrection. I ask that people will realize Jesus is alive today!! In Jesus name, Amen!

Please pray that many will hear the story of Jesus’ love.
Pray that those people that are alone today will realize as long as they have Jesus in their hearts and lives they are never alone.
