Bill Brown

FCFI Area Leader Bill Brown

Bill was born in Lowville, NY where it has been said “the cows outnumber the people 2 to 1.”  His Mennonite upbringing had a huge impact on his life, accepting Christ as his savior at the age of 13.  He is a graduate of Cobleskill College majoring in Ag.  Bill and his first wife, Kathy, owned and operated LaBrow Farms for 32 years before her passing in 1996.  The farm was home to 150 head of registered Holsteins.  They were blessed to be able to sell breeding stock locally and internationally.  They both were active in their local church Redeeming Love Fellowship, host of last year’s conference.  Bill and his present wife, Kathy, are still active members.

Thirty one years ago, Bill was a founding member of the Mohawk Valley Chapter, the largest and most active chapter in the US and Canada.  Bill served on the Board of Directors of FCFI for two terms before accepting the role of Area Leader for the Northeast.  2022 marks their 24th year of promoting FCFI both in the US and Canada.

Bill and Kathy have had the privilege of introducing FCFI to Canada 20 years ago.

One of the many blessings that God has given them is to bring on many volunteers who help at events up and down the East Coast.  Also, they have had the privilege of bringing on 5 couples, fieldmen, who work beside us keeping up with our busy schedule of over 90 events each year.

Together Bill and Kathy have four children, four grandchildren and one great grandchild.  They are celebrating 27 years of marriage this summer.
