Matthew 10:20

for it is not you who speak, but the Spirit of your Father who speaks in you.

We often think, while we are sharing Lord Jesus with people, that it is us doing the thinking of what we want to share and the speaking of those words. After all, we want to get it right so the person or people that we are speaking with understands how much the Lord truly loves us and wants to spend eternity with us. We fear saying the wrong things and those you are speaking to will turn away from the Lord. But, we are reminded by the Lord that it is not us bringing those thoughts to mind and speaking them. It is God's Spirit within us that is speaking through us. When we receive Jesus into our hearts and lives, something so much greater is happening at that moment. We are receiving God's Spirit into us as a guide in all we say and do. It is the Lord's Spirit that is speaking through us at those times we are sharing Jesus Christ. I was told once, when we can no longer think of what to say at that moment, we are done. The Holy Spirit has said all He wants to and so the message is complete at that moment. Are we living lives that encourage the Spirit of the Living God to speak though us? Trust in the Lord and His Spirit and allow them to speak through you. Enjoy that awesome moment of oneness you are experiencing with the Lord!!

Lord, I want to share Lord Jesus with the people. I want to get the words exactly right. I do fear saying the wrong thing and possibly driving those I am speaking to away from You. But, I do know it is You in me, Your Spirit in me, sharing who You are and it is You reaching out to them, and not me. Holy Spirit live within me and have total control over my life and speak Your words through me to reach out to everyone that needs You! In Jesus Name I ask, Amen!!
