Philippians 1:18

What does it matter? Only that in every way, whether from false motives or true, Christ is proclaimed, and in this I rejoice. Yes, and I will continue to rejoice

The Apostle Paul was in chains in prison for preaching Lord Jesus Christ. While in prison Paul was getting word that there were people preaching Lord Jesus to the people with bad motives. They were not doing so from the love of Lord Jesus. They were preaching Lord Jesus to get Paul in more trouble. But Paul was not upset at all. In fact, he was very happy. He said it does not matter the motives one has for preaching Lord Jesus death and resurrection, as long as Jesus was being preached. As long as the people were hearing the salvation message. You have the very same thing today. Some people will preach Lord Jesus as a way of earning their way to heaven. Some may view each soul reached as the notch on their spiritual gun belt. But it does not matter why people are presenting the salvation message of Lord Jesus to the world. The people cannot come to Jesus if they are not presented with the Gospel.

Lord, Thank you that Your salvation message is being preached. Without Your death on the cross and rising from the dead, there would be no way to live with You forever in heaven. I am thankful that, no matter the motive, Your Name is proclaimed and I rejoice as more people's names are written in the Lamb's Book of Life to live with You forever as they receive Your truth that is proclaimed. Thank You Jesus! I will rejoice! In Jesus name, Amen!!

Prayer Requests!!!

Please pray for those having “minor” surgeries. As we know nothing is minor when surgery is involved.

Please pray for all the people fighting depression. This is the evil one causing people to stumble and fall. Pray they close all doors of their hearts to evil and open all doors of their hearts to Jesus!

An update on Noa, the young man who has a ruptured appendix and a cyst and they were concerned about sepsis. Noa’s been going in daily for IV antibiotics. He’s doing fine with an occasional fever but is still waiting for surgery on the ruptured appendix. The family wishes to thank you all profusely for your past and continued prayer support! God is good!

Please pray for Christyne Brown as her husband Steve passed away suddenly two days ago. Steve and Chris are FCFI Fieldmen in the East and do A LOT to help in that region. Please pray for Christyne and all the family and friends, as well as co-workers in the FCFI ministry who are greatly affected by this sudden loss.
