John 1:12-13
But as many as received Him, to them He gave the right to become children of God, to those who believe in His name: who were born, not of blood, nor of the will of the flesh, nor of the will of man, but of God.
I once thought we were all children of God. After all, He created us all and so we were all His children. Right?? It turns out we are all His creation. But we are not considered His children. Here the Lord tells us when we personally receive Jesus into our hearts and lives (as many as receive Him), it is at that exact point we are NOW considered Children of God! At the point we receive Jesus into our hearts and lives we experience a second birth or a spiritual birth (Born Again) and become adopted sons and daughters of God! We are not on the same level as God's only real Son (Jesus). But we are now part of God's family (adopted into) and will spend eternity with Him in heaven. Congratulations! At that point we all become spiritual brothers and sisters to each other being we are now part of the Lord's family. And this spiritual bond we have with each other is even stronger than the bond you have now with your biological family.
Lord, I thank Lord Jesus for dying for my sins on the cross. I am so thrilled to know You love me so much that You adopted me into Your family. I will try my hardest to be a good child of Yours. I love You so much Lord!! In Jesus name, Amen!!e a great diplomat for Lord Jesus in this lost world. In Jesus Name I ask, Amen!!
