repaired horse barn
|
Audrey and Randy Braddock, Syracuse, Kansas nail new siding on a horse shed near Erath, Louisiana. It is a tremendous encouragement to Louisiana farmers to FCF members from Kansas, Colorado, Wisconsin, Illinois, New York, Pennsylvania, Michigan, Kentucky, Iowa, and Nebraska show up to build fence and repair buildings. The owner of this horse shed said, "I don't know who sent the storm or why, but I know who sent you." Farmers listening to farmers going through the stress of a great lost is powerful medicine. Ironically, back in 1957 it was Hurricane Audrey that left two feet of water all over the Vermillion Parish. In 2006 the Lord brought Audrey Braddock to lift the spirits of local farmers as she worked with her husband, Randy.
