Greeley, Nebraska farmer, Dennis Bjorkland, brought his skid loader to the bayou to help drive steel posts and position new header timbers on livestock sheds near Abbeville, Louisiana. The Fellowship of Christian Farmers has housing and kitchen facilities to house 20 people per week to help re-build the miles of fences destroyed by Hurricane Rita's storm surge. Registration for Louisiana Hurricane relief can be completed on-line and costs $25.00 per person for as long as you can stay.
