The Fellowship of Christian Farmers are being advised by our Mexican Pastor friends that it is too dangerous for American farmers to travel into Mexico to previous Mexcio Mission trip locations in Torreon. FCFI teams will be working at the Emmanuel Baptist Church installing dry wall and a perimeter fence at the church where FCFI worked in 2010 in Edinburg, Texas

 

New York and Vermont Disaster Relief (stay as long as you can)

$15.00 per day

Hurricane Irene and ten days later, Tropical Storm Lee, dumped heavy rain and flash flooding in the Schoharie Valley and the states of Vermont and Pennsylvania. Many family farm dairies  received heavy damage to barns and dwellings.  Your help is needed to be part of a team to re-wire, sheetrock, rebuild fences and repair milking centers  in the region.The disaster relief effort is changing weekly.  Disasters never come at a convenient time. Prayerfully consider being part of a Hurricane Irene Disaster Relief team.   Hay is going to be needed , too.

Albania January 23-February 6 or February 13-27, 2012

George and Julia Holmes will be leading FCFI’s mission work in Albania for the 19th winter. The SOWERS discipling team continues its work in mountain villages.  The children’s ministry has 40 children attending weekly.  Participants will assist in seed distribution; eyeglasses ministry; and visiting families in the mountain villages.  Your talents are needed in Albania this winter.

Russia April 19-30, 2012

Ron Bodtke will be leading the Fellowship’s 20th year of helping Pastor Anatoli Korabel in the Novgorod Region located two hours south of St. Petersburg.  The Lord continues to open the door for farmers to travel to Russia and speak in Russian churches; monitor the drug rehabilitation center potato farm in Borrivichi; and to share our faith in three Universities with college students. Youth ministry “CafĂ© Events” attract Russian youth to hear Christian contemporary music and testimonies will take place while in Novgorod.  The Lord will utilize your talents if your desire to participate on this trip.

 

New Zealand   June 4-18, 2012

The Fellowship of Christian Farmers will be combining an exhibit at New Zealand’s largest farm show, Fieldays, with visits to New Zealand farms and points of interest in what Kiwi’s call “God’s Own Country”.  Based on the success of the 2011 Fieldays exhibit, the 2012 exhibit will strive to organize New Zealand farmers who love the Lord into an organization to share the gospel at four regional farm shows.  Please pray for this ministry door the Lord has opened to bond USA farmers with New Zealand farmers.
